STONEBOND : The Gargoyle's Domain is a multiplayer gothic combat game. Fueled by our love for pixelated classics and 90s TV series, it is a 4-player couch game in which you form a fragile bond with another player, and win by protecting it together.
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. Copies below reflect the player base, not paid sales.

So the game needs a lot of work, for one thing the controls for at least to of the characters is 'a (left) s (right) q (jump) w (attack) and jkui in that order again. Making it only usable for 4 people will hinder the ability for people to play as well has not being able to go online with it. The game has a nice design but it doesn't tell you how to move or what button is even start (its space if youre wondering but when you try to start a level it is 'u') and the cute art does not but any circumstance make up for the inablity to play. The description makes it seem as though it is an rpg and sadly it is not (not that only being able to have 4 players would make much sense for an rpg anyway :/) it is a fighting game like Smash bros or Brawlhalla but I couldn't figure out how to win even when I destroyed all the characters using one, and then using two, I could not test for any more as I did not find out how to move the other two. With only one action command the fight is limited and with no speed difference it comes down to tactic so. .-. If this game is changed to explain controls and make the game easier to use it could be successful, add some lore, a plot, explanation, something. Throw me a bone to keep my interest, I can't really play this game because I have one person whom I /could/ play with, 2 more in the same space using the same keyboard is not the best idea. I can see that this game had effort put into it. Rather a lot by the description and the art, the fightin concepts to win are also new and interesting. It adds a nice change to things. Make the game online acessable, make it so you can change the number of players, some of the keyboard commands and give some lore and this game is golden. Good luck

+nice gfx -bad keyboard control, fine by xbox controller -need exactly 4 players, no bot, no online... -gameplay too simple, just playing catch-up
STONEBOND: The Gargoyle's Domain, good concept, neat art but terrible controls. I like it overall but I feel like for a game like this to be popular it has to be targeted to a very specific audience, one that is interested in "couch" multiplayer on PC.
A nicely crafted game, very fun with friends. I enjoyed it last year at the Stunfest, Rennes.
STONEBOND: The Gargoyle's Domain is not a complete/sincerely developed game, it's a 2D retro pixel "Game Jam" demo that was dumped out over the course of a few days then someone paid $100 to throw this up on Steam alongside seriously, genuinely developed video games, to take some of the visibility away from developers who did the right thing. It's a lazy 2D retro pixel platform brawler with a gimmick, you have to stay close to other players to keep up a bond. Because the game wasn't sincerely developed, no effort was made to do online multiplayer, and there's no single player mode, so this is a local multiplayer only game... a terrible idea from the beginning. These guys know the internet got invented, right? Apparently not. Resolution and controls are locked, and can't be changed or customised to improve the visuals or the control experience. A choice was made to use obsolete retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. These flaws push this game far below minimum acceptable standards for PC. While this is "free", it's really just a demo/non-serious attempt at making a game, it's just Game Jam garbage and should be avoided. It's obviously not possible for a game slapped together over a few days for the sake of developers (and not gamers) to be of the same quality as a properly, sincerely made game from a full development team with a full budget who take the right amount of time and put in genuine hard work to create a product for gamers. It's polluting Steam and making it harder for gamers to find genuine games and for genuine indie developers who put months or years into making proper games find an audience.
