A emotional visual novel(on depression?) . The music is amazing. Sound worked smoothly in a flow.
One of my favourite games. It depicts depression and loneliness honestly and very realistically. I will forever recommend this game!
So this is an interactive story more than a game - but it is a good one. You spend your time kind of watching a girl/woman battle depression, heat, anxiety and angst, lots of angst. It is heart-wrenching, sometimes a little confusing, very dark and somber, but a very good story nevertheless. If you like things like "what remains of edith finch" and things like that - this is also a game for you.
The game's interactive graphic novel format offers a relatable narrative that resonates with the struggles of battling loneliness, seeking connections, and attempting to find one's place in social settings. It allows players to experience the daily life of a person living with depression, how things are affected by the character's mental state. The game showcases how depression can influence even the simplest tasks.
Very unique style, clever writing and storytelling - cuts to the point without sugarcoating and uses the gaming mechanic perfectly to pull you through the situations. It does offer just the right dose of hope for life, despite the story being quite dark at the climax. For such a short game, it did leave quite the lasting impression! Having to go through bad choices together with the character, without possibility to escape makes the player VERY aware of just how much disaster small bad habits can cause over time.
What an experience
