StickDodgeVR

This is one of the most fun VR Games I have played for the HTC VIVE. The way that the developers make dodgeball fun and entertaining to play continously is awesome! I love their new updates like how the ball turns to glass after being on the ground for a while and also the new added game modes like Last Life, Insane mode, time mode and the other ones they added. And this game only costs $2 so you should buy it! Definitely recommended! Very little bugs but the improvements do not affect game play.

-Most annoying sound effects -Boring -Terrible controls -Fake reviews -Broken 1/5 This is bad, even for a $2, it's not worth the headache or the horrendous game play. Also it's very suspicious that this game got good reviews, it's broken (The giants throw the balls backwards) and terrible, especially with the EAR SHATTERING GLASS BREAKING sounds whenever you hit a stickperson. It's actually very fun! Proves that visuals is not everything, especially in VR

I couldn't play the game in my play space. It seems like it expected me to be grabbing coins that were well outside my play area, and it seemed to expect me to grab balls from a dispensor that was also outside of my play area. I could change this review if a method to grab things outside the play area is added. Gameplay doesn't seem fundamentally bad.

VIVEでしか動かず。 oculus riftだと立ち上がらず。 非常に淡白なドッジボール。のはずなのだが、立位scaleだと自陣のボールが遠すぎる。 しかもボールを消費した後どうやって補充するのかまるで判らない。著しく説明不足。 この値段でも納得とは言い難い出来。

I got this game with a bunch of others in a dollar bundle – thank goodness I didn’t pay more. It’s functional, but seems to me like it was a learning project for the developer. The graphics are terrible, from the bland arena, to the untextured opponents and balls. Frustratingly, the spot where I pick up the balls is an inch from the edge of my play space, so I kept smacking the wall when trying to get the balls. Sounds are either nonexistent, or there’s random and deafening loud glass shattering sounds when you hit enemies. I really want to give this a thumbs down, but I got it for literally a few cents… and it actually provides a decent dodgeball simulation, enough to get you moving and sweating a bit on “insane” mode. Ughhh… this is charity…. Thumbs: up!
