Stereo Aereo

Stereo Aereo is a Guitar Hero ripoff where you control a car that has to skip between lanes of traffic (making it appear more like an endless runner), which somehow is how the developers think music is made. It's not very expensive and it plays okay (although the menu is almost impossible to navigate if you own a HOTAS or racing wheel because the devs didn't bother testing the game on PC). The problem is that it's just not as good as Guitar Hero, or any other music/rhythm game. So just play one of those if that's your thing.

Além disso há fazes com boss onde cada um tem sua forma de ser destruído. Tenho jogado muitos jogos musicais onde a jogabilidade não combina com a música a todo momento... esse jogo combina e é isso que faz um jogo desse tipo ser gostoso de jogar. Se você não curte muito músicas de sintetizadores dos anos 80, talvez o jogo não seja TÃO bom xD Recomendadíssimo, mesmo no preço cheio.

Nice short little rhythm/shooter game. Unless you somehow want to get all the achievements or get some high scores (which I feel wouldn't be as fun as with similar rhythm games with more consistent mechanics throughout), the main attraction will likely be the story mode, which should last around an hour and a half if you don't fail or restart too much. The story itself is okay: it feels relatively accessory to the whole experience, yet serviceable and sometimes a tad funny. I must admit however that voices and dialogues do get annoying at times. Visuals are mostly still during cutscenes (again, they do what they're expected to well enough), but quite varied, bright and interesting during gameplay phases! I enjoyed the mechanics, specifically being encouraged to evade obstacles at a precise moment (either at a specific distance in front or at the last minute). The only serious annoyance I had was with some obstacles having very different shapes, thus needing to be evaded at unclear times until you get the feel for each individual type (thankfully the music does help), and sometimes being tough to read altogether (like on which row you're supposed to be to evade them properly). As a side note, I particularly enjoyed the last two songs (out of ten), which reverted to more readable obstacles while still providing fast and significant challenge. Overall, it remains a well thought out, interesting and original enough concept. The music does the job really: it has good rhythm and a light, chill vibe, like the story itself. All in all, for just a few dollars? I'd say why not! 8/10

I received this product for free back in 2018 because I won a giveaway done by the incredible The Stonebot Studio! I must admit that up until now, I even forgot about having this game gathering dust on my Steam Library (as so happens to most of us, whose gaming backlog keeps growing and growing). This game is very fun and for someone who has been playing a lot more casually (rather than my hardcore and tryhard gaming past) I really enjoyed this experience. I have been a long-time Guitar Hero fan (ever since I first played it back on 2007), and as a musician myself, rhythm games really hit home for me. Stereo Aereo really delivers with fun tracks, on-point mastery of the music genre chosen (heavily inspired by 80's), cool and funny characters and a really good job done on the whole game design. As a fellow Salvadoran, I'm really happy I played this great-quality game, which was done by a fantastic development team from El Salvador, The Stonebot Studio! Wish you the best, and as the title screen foretold: I hope to see Stereo Aereo return some time in the near future... P.S.: I think one of my next adventures will be going into The Last Friend! ¡SÚPER CHIVO EL JUEGO, LOS FELICITO!

If you're going to play Stereo Aereo I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you play on normal at first. The game is way more unforgiving on hard than on normal. That being said, it's a fairly fun, challenging game. The music was very hit or miss, most songs were just okay, the two I liked the most happened to be the first, and last stage songs coincidentally. If you want a challenging music based game for cheap (4 dollars), you really can't go wrong with Stereo Aereo.
