«Step Journey»
This is one of those games that you randomly stumble upon while scouring the depths of the Steam store page. The only difference is-- this is one you don't forget. Hope for some type of continuation or sequel in the future. Wonderfully done.
I was pleased with the voxel graphics and levels, everything looks quite nice. Many different monsters and loot, similar to Diablo, but cubic.
Cool game. At the very beginning it seems very difficult, but then you understand how to play it, you collect clothes for your style of play, it becomes easier but no less exciting. It will be even better if the developers add a cooperative. The game is worth it to buy it.
I liked everything, that's one big minus, it's not at all clear what kind of lore is here, what's going on? The quests explain this very briefly and briefly, but it seems to me that it would be nice to add some plot explanations.
Simple quests, simple item system, simple abilities, simple monsters. Only the basic movement mechanics are really unusual. But everything together is not badly played and looks balanced.
Just a little bit tried to play. Looks interesting, I'm glad that it runs great even on older computers P.S. Scared of the breaking walls.......
i'll be honest with by you, this game have one problem... she is short . If you're take this game and want to play warrior or berserk then good luck XD. not bad.
This weird Russian train wreck looks like it was entirely vibe coded... at face value it's just a laughably bad Russian attempt to make an RPG with crappy voxel Minecraft graphics... there's no content, everything is procedurally generated, and the gameplay is laughably, horribly jank... exactly what you would expect an AI generated game to play like. Now you combine the sheer laziness of the development here with the insane price, and suddenly the picture becomes clear. This isn't a sincerely made game at all, it's another Russian "fake game"... a quick and dirty cash grab. And that's a problem, a real big problem. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. The game features lazy low-polygon voxel "Minecraft"-like "art", making this look like a barely functional 3D game from the 1990s. A lot of amateur developers see Minecraft's success and assume it's because it looks bad, not because it had unique and appealing game mechanics, and they try to emulate the success without understanding it. It also happens to be easy, and doesn't need any proper talent in terms of game development/graphic artists etc. That's why reviewers are faced with so many of these terrible games with confrontingly bad graphics. Developers must learn that Minecraft succeeded despite the bad graphics, not because of them. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers, left handed gamers or gamers using AZERTY or other international keyboard layouts. The game features no proper level design or game/story flow/plot, as they opted to try to use samey repetitive procgen algorithms as a substitute for adding such content to the game, to avoid doing the important job of level/map design. As a result, the game doesn't actually have any content worth mentioning, just endless, boring, repetitive, soulless algorithmically generated sameyness. Developers must learn that procedural generation is not an acceptable substitute for content. Those technical issues put this game beneath what is expected from a contemporary, professionally developed PC game. Let's talk about pricing and the actual value this has for gamers. So, should you buy this game? Is this one of the best of the 140,000+ games on Steam? Step Journey has the almost scam-like price of $30 USD, for which you could easily get any number of older AAA games. The quality problems and defects with this game makes the asking price totally unrealistic. It is impossible to recommend this to gamers here on Steam. For comparison, the $30 asking price for this game could get you games like "Total War Warhammer III", "Dark Souls III" or "Rimworld". Quality, professionally made games like those are frequently on sale cheaper than this. It's worth noting that pricing like that on what's objectively garbage is indicative of unethical behaviour... while there's no evidence, this is either a setup for fake reviews or even worse, potential money laundering. Stay away from this kind of stuff.
Profile Features Limited! Valve have marked this game as "Profile Features Limited" at the time of this review. This is usually caused by poor sales figures and low community acceptance for the game (to date). Until this status changes, this game will not give you +1 to your Game Collector badge count, appear in profile achievements or any other Steam meta-accomplishments, nor can it be displayed in some profile showcases. If these factors are important to you, it may be worth holding off before buying this game.
