Steam should learn a bit from Epic Games and make good games free.
The 1990s, an Argentine city, and dreams of a princess
Stellar Mess tells the story of Diego, a comic book shop owner who dreams of meeting the fictional princess Lanor. It is a typical point-and-click game, offering classic options such as combining different items, searching for hidden objects on the screen, and talking to various NPCs from whom we can obtain different items or important information. The game basically gives us 4 locations to explore, which are relatively small, making the whole game quite short and easy to complete. Walking around the locations is problematic because every time we reach the place we clicked on, the character stops there, and there is no option to hold the walk button, which becomes very irritating after a while. The graphics are pixelated, reminiscent of old games, as is the sound, which is fine. As I mentioned earlier, some items are so hidden in locations that they are difficult to see; they are simply very unclear. I think there will be people who will like this style and even fall into the trap of nostalgia, but for me, this aspect of the game neither bothers me nor excites me. Stellar Mess is a very short game with rather strange puzzles and sometimes irrational combinations of objects. In addition, the game offers only one chapter (a second one was released this year), which I also consider to be a rather poor move. It is not one of those worst games where you have no idea what is going on, but it is still a rather poor title and not really worth recommending (although the promotional price is ridiculously low). ✔️Very low price (on sale) ✔️❌Graphics and sound ❌The puzzles don't always make sense ❌Annoying walking around locations ❌Releasing chapters as separate games doesn't look very good Time of completion: 1-1.5 hours Rating: 3/10 ●▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ஜ۩۞۩ஜ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬●
Follow my curator for more reviews
●▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ஜ۩۞۩ஜ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬● ATTENTION!
Another poorly thought out point-&-click that fails to be considerate of its limitations. With moon-logic in item combinations very early on. It takes mundane situations and makes them only solvable by the illogical solutions. Calling this fun puzzles is not something I agree with.
.
the game has a nice retro style, but I didn’t enjoy the gameplay. The puzzles and flow felt off, and the story feels incomplete since it ends so quickly. It has potential, but this chapter didn’t really hook me.
