Upgraded visuals, but not everything from the original is uncluded.
Technical condition of the game is just horrible. You minimize the game window for a moment, try to expand it back, and it straigh up dead. Not to mention it cannot even stretch itself in fullscreen without changing your whole system display mode. Basically unusable without Borderless Gaming program
I've just finished Elite after having played the OG and 0 (the sequel-ish game to the OG) a few years ago, they were both amazing, and this was also a great adaptation having watching the anime and played the VN, only I missed the charm and flexibility of phone utility found in the OG and 0, so I still want to replay the OG again at some point. I'd definitely recommend playing the OG before this even if you've already seen the show like me since this is basically the OG game using the anime's visuals, but you technically could start with this and be alright if you really wanted! Also on a side note, there's a Reboot of the OG game scheduled to release later this year, which allegedly will even have new story content as well, which you can pre-wishlist on Steam! If you're new to Steins;Gate itself, I left a review on the OG that I feel strongly reflects how I felt after playing this version too, if you want to check it out. Should you embark on this journey into the world of time travel and worldlines, I wish you luck. - El. Psy. Kongru.
A slow burn thats fully worth it my fav VN to date.
just goated as usual
