About
You command a mighty Xalium Battle Tank (XBT) with WASD controls. Click to move is possible too, but swift positioning is vital because XBTs take more damage from the sides and even more from the back. That makes positioning key to landing your shots.
In fact, you must aim well with every shot, because every shot is a skill shot!
With 100+ minions per team, per avenue, per minute, the battlefield is teeming with thousands. Whether you are obliterating minions in clusters, swarming heroes, or overwhelming turrets, once you adapt to this new scale of war, no other MOBA will compare.
Danger and riches abound in the streets of Rotnor. The city is divided into two halves, each with four neighborhoods inhabited by neutral factions: police, military, pirates, and Xorm. Decide who to ally with, undertake missions for them, and secure vital upgrades that can shift the balance of power. Once you’re strong enough, rally your team to challenge mighty Mantis, the rogue XBT, for a reward that could change the outcome.
Select the battle tank and pilot that align with your team role from an ever-growing pool of options. Every five levels, enhance your skills with modifications. Acquire upgrades and gears to tailor your tank to your distinctive playing style.
You have the power to destroy anything in your path. Create new routes between lanes through the jungle, ambush enemies from behind, or surprise them with backdoor attacks just when they think they’ve won.
Gear up, Commander! The swarm is relentless, the city is yours to reshape, and victory demands TRUE SKILL. Assemble your team, strategize your build, and carve your path through the chaos to stop the Apocalypse!

This game has potential, but needs work. Here's what I think would help this game: Fix SFX; The Sound FX for the menu's hurts my ears. Simplify UI and shortcuts; UI in the launcher and UI in game is not intuitive. The shop/drones are We need players; maybe some marketing? maybe get the game to a good place and sponsor some streamers? DIversity; We need Jungle or passive mobs or some way for off lane game play, current state is all rock paper scissors/tug of war in lanes. There is no reason to be anywhere but in the lane shoving
This is definitely someone's first project. The balancing is WAY off. There is very serious problem with the DPS differences between tanks. Also, I couldn't find anyone to play with/against within the 30 minutes I tried. but that being said, for someone learning how to produce games, it is pretty good. I'm not impressed by the attempt to monetize something like this tho. The developer needs to refine their skills before they start charging for loot boxes. Or maybe not, PvP junkies will pay thousands for any chance to dominate a digital stranger so maybe the dev is actually a genius in marketing.

I really like the idea of destroying the environment and offering different strategies. I look forward to experiencing different tanks.
it is a refreshing approach to the genre, filled with little action packed decisions that could change the course of the match. also it is super fun blasting minion swarms
Sonucta ayni nexus'u savunuyorsunuz. Kontrol secenekleri vb. yontemler eklenebilir. Yada biraz daha mekanik eklenebilir. Umarim basarili olur oyun. Ama suan icin daha ♥♥♥ gelistirilmesi lazim. Yerli yapimcilari da artik sektorde daha ♥♥♥ gormek bizi mutlu eder :)
My gambling addict friend said if I post a review and it gets 150 likes and 50 Awards that he will buy me a case of beer and some vodka So im just gonna leave this here. Мой друг-игроман сказал, что если я опубликую отзыв и он наберет 150 лайков и 50 наград, он купит мне ящик пива и немного водки, так что я просто оставлю это здесь.
Speaking as MOBA player myself (Dota 2, LoL, HotS), Steel Swarm: APOCALYPSE is a one of its kind game, a very unique MOBA with its ups and downs. As they stated in store description, they actually really mean it. It's very hard MOBA on surface but it's not really complex as you may think. It's really hard to get into it with unfamiliarity but the fun is there. You might like the gameplay after 3-5 matches. At least, that's how I got hooked into this game.
Controls
The tank controls is my favorite thing to talk about. You are controlling a tank, not a person, not a monster, an actual TANK. This game uses WASD movement, WS moves you forward and backwards and AD rotates your tank left and right. Most tanks have its turrets pointing at your cursor and only few has their turrets stay with tank body. You also can right click to rotate your tank to your cursor. It takes me like 6 games(?) to get used to it. It feels very sluggish if you come from League but to me, I do feel immersed like playing as a tank driver. You also have QER as abilities, 123 as gears, CTRL 1-6 to summon drones, CTRL A/B to pick your talents and new SHIFT to give pings. However, you cannot customize your controls in settings and apparently, you able to play with controller as well but I don't bother with it. I am not a big fan of current Free Cam camera system. It feels horrible and choppy. I hope they fix it. Locked camera is currently fine in my opinion.
Sounds and Design
The sounds are amazing, very well done on most parts. You could hear lot of firing sounds between both sides in lane like a war. The money sounds on last hits are great too. The female announcer is alright and I do kinda dislike the level up sound (weird random cash sfx). However, I couldn't say the same for abilities SFX and gear SFX. Most of tank abilities are missing sounds when pressed. Cold Blood gear has weird splat sounds when hitting enemy tanks. Design of each units are very nice and detailed especially the tanks. Every tanks are given fitting design to their gameplay. Speaking of that, I wish the jungle units look scary as they are. The 'small size' of jungle units make them look less threatening and you probably think "Oh, I should kill 2-3 of them while I am here" while in reality, BOOM! They deal lot of freaking damage and the jungle itself is very hard haha. Think of ancient jungle creeps from Dota 2 but all of them look like easy creeps. The map design is very good however, like all of the destructible buildings have lot of details on it and there are other metropolis-like props around the map.
Gameplay
I have mixed feelings about gameplay as so far I only played with and against only bots in real games and god, I wish Panther AI gets removed, IT'S SO BAD but anyway, gameplay. 5 vs 5 tanks in 3 lanes. You get money from killing enemy army and killing 4 buildings at start (idk why this is a thing). Then, you become stronger by buying Upgrades. Upgrades are 7 paths with every purchases give you significant tank stats. The final two purchases on each path give you lot of stats. So, yeah, basically you win the game by mostly farming lot of money in short time to quickly snowball because of stats. Blue and yellow gears are practically useless for now. There are also drones you can spawn at any time with money but they only come useful in the midgame. I have never approach a proper teamfight as all my games are me vs bots. Jungling in this game is very hard and requires experience. Jungle missions only upgrades drones and give you lot of money on second mission. There is also a Mantis, equivalent to Baron Nashor/Roshan which gives you buff and free push drones. Overall, the gameplay is really straightforward because if you have most money = you will win. Making your tank strongest and able to take on everyone is most fun part for me and DYING FEELS VERY BAD. The lanes are really far from your spawn and you just have to wait 1 minute to respawn and chances that you will probably die again because coming back to action feels very long to the point enemy bots could snowball. I would recommend this game because nobody is PLAYING it right now. I wish more people discover this so the devs can experiment with more real PvP stuffs and add lot of quality of life changes. Although I play with lag from SEA, this game has huge potential.
give normal movement options. let people play the tank they want.
Solid game. I like it. People commenting about WASD controls are goofy. it's a tank shooter. If you cant handle WASD it seems pretty Joystick compatible. Plug in a controller. Bots should be labeled as bots... right now it's really hard to find other players and it feels like there's a lot of spoofed names. Needs some balancing. Panthers never seem to get more than 5K gold. maybe because bots are bad at Panther. who knows. He's not in the free Roto right now. The game is free to play, purchase hero/skins. it would be nice if you could unlock at least half the tanks for $20-$30. if they add more this would get crazy expensive. Maybe they'll add in game rewards later. that would be nice. Like Smite.
bots in matches pretending to be real people, tank controls in moba feels awful, and too much similar to league.
