GUYS,, THIS GAME SERVER HAVE BEEN CLOSED ON 2018, PLEASE DONT DOWNLOAD IT. THANK YOU
Please do yourself a favor and ignore the negative reviews. Give this game a try for yourself IF you're into 3rd person mobas such as Smite, fast paced arena brawlers such as Bloodline Champions, and loved the art style and feel of MxM (Master x Master). This game has a ton of potential. Yes, as you can see the game is in early access which means it's not a finished product. But the developers are constantly talking to us on Discord and slowly but surely, we're helping to improve the game. Yes, the game is far from perfect. There are some bugs and balancing issues that need to be addressed but that's completely normal. Give the game a chance. Ask around in the chat if you need any help. Get involved with the small but enjoyable community, and give the game a fair chance. Play a few hours and explore all that the game has to offer. You won't be disappointed.

With the recent patch and the removal of all of the secondary skills, this game just became totally useless to play. Now it is just like every other MOBA with 5 skills. It was challenging before with the extra skills and you had to play smart and cycle your skills, being able to live on the edge and continue fighting was fun. Now it is just more of the same MOBA crap that we have been playing for over the past decade. The game is free to play and there is still no one playing it, that just goes to show you there is nothing revolutionary here. Pass on this one an play something that is more established if you want to play a cookie cutter MOBA. I dont know where the devs head is, but I can tell you where it should be.
+ New Gameplay in MOBA + Decently balanced + You can get some Skins/Characters if you complete all Daily's + It makes fun + Interesting camps, bosses and mechanics to defeat your enemy + You get everything explained and the help keys are very helpful! + The bomb function can get very interesting to destroy the dominating team - There still are many bugs that can get annoying (as example players und turrents can shoot though some walls) - Long time to wait even a match-server was found even if there are enough players in the lobby (just won 3/3 matches but almost waited about 20 - 40 minutes) - Not the best server performence In the end i would prefer to give a chance to the game, its pretty funny and good to play even if its still Early Access.
The Day Online looks like it will turn out to be an incredibly fun 3rd person moba. Traditional farming and building is replaced by a focus on customising your skillsets and trying to out level your opponents. Fights are forced with team objectives and jungle buffs which need to be contested whenever possible. Gameplay is fast paced, however Time To Kill is still fairly long which means battles rely as much on correct timing of abilities as they do quick reations. Depending on which secondary weapon is equiped you will have a different set of active skills avalible on your secondary skill bar. This allows you to pick active abilites for certain situations, to counter other players and to suit your play style. Weapons and Characters can be changed while in match allowing you further situational counters and a flexible team composition. The game is both simple enough and complicated enough to allow new players get a footing while catering for higher tier players to develop complex strats and well timed rotations. The open beta population is slowly growing, and while there are a few bugs here and there they are to be expected. The devs actively listen to feedback and I have already seen one or two changes made based on community feedback. Looking through some of the other reviews here with less than a couple of hours playtime im not sure people understand what a Beta test is. Do not install this if you expect a fully fledged AAA game with all the bells and whistles. You need to have patience, a will to learn and want to develop alongside the game providing bug reports and suggestions. As an afterword I would like to say two things; - Press "V" to que - Destroy your TD cannons at the start - Have fun! (ok that was 3 things).
THE DAY online has potential, the graphics are of a decent standard, a ranking system is already in the game, and the combat feels satisfying. Unfortunately, it is executed very poorly. There are no items like a traditional MOBA, and compared to other arena games with similar mechanics, the only customization here is the sub-weapon you choose, this would allow you to customize which 3 extra skills you have access to when switching weapons. Well, sub-weapons have been essentially removed as of the last patch and replaced with a choice of 1 extra skill instead. There was levels and stat boosts from kill-streaks, both of these have been removed from one of the gamemodes to "simplify" the game. Now, this gamemode has no progression of any kind. Then there's the MOBA map, expecting items and progression? Nope, just basic levels with barely any customization at all. There's also no tutorial, resulting in players running around lost and confused. I suggest staying well clear until this game actually has some sort of progression or depth, as of now it's extremely basic and boring and getting worse instead of better.
The game isn't bad it just requires class familiarization and skill memory just like every other MOBA but they need to advertise it more to get a larger playerbase. It has a lot of potential and when you start theres obviously some classes that are more powerful with the basic attack and skill cap but if you take the time to learn another character you can face roll with almost any of them as long as you stick to your respective role and not try to do to much. You can swap your secondary weapon to a shield daggers or fist weapons each has a different 1,2,3 ability and it makes the skill requirement a bit better as the cooldowns on skills is pretty long requiring you to swap back and forth especially if your melee vs a ranged. The Asia server has a majority of all the players if you play on North America it's going to be rough trying to even get into a match. I had to custom make one with random players running around in the lobby to even get a game to think about queueing. However if your willing to deal with a little bit of lag you can find a match in the game types in the Asia server. Give it a try, I'd recommend sticking to one class for a little bit though to get a good feel of it.
Honestly I don't understand all the negative reviews , the game is really fun and action packed once you get a hang of it (it took me around 2 games to get used to it) there is ALWAYS something to do ,and basically from what I understood how the abilities work is you have 3 WEAPON abilities , that change based on your weapon and 2 core/character abilities (each character has their own unique ones) and you have 2 weapons , this allows for some good variety gameplay wise since you can tune the game under what YOU like , there are no shops like in traditional mobas instead you get items by killing trash mobs in the "jungle" HP potions / ability cd reductions and really long range jumps that I havent figured out yet how to use properly also a big huge fat plus for me in this game was that skill actually mattered in it , and if you're good enough you'll wreck people for some people a big plus will be that even tho yes you have to aim in this game for most characters , it's not really that hard or bad , you don't get any bonuses for hitting people in the head or anywhere else , as long as your crosshair is on the target you will do the damage you are ment to do. you can swap characters AND their weapons mid game Voice chat is always a big plus for me (and you can disable it) it's fairly well optimized and looks beautiful from the negatives only thing I can say is that in 7 hours I already encountered quite a few game braking bugs (like being able to fly upwards infinetly party match making is limited for 2 players per grp not enough players so the que times take quite a lot and some players are already really good at the game and kick your buttox I never liked Smite or Paragon , but this I loved.
i only write reviews that really deserve it, but this game is definitely a gem. rare mechanics like the secondary weapons is what really makes the gameplay amazing. i love games with very unique mechanics like this, this game doesnt deserve those negative reviews tbh. the NA servers are pretty dead but theres a lot of skilled individuals playing on the asia servers. the ping is bad but i can still play without a whole lot of lag.
