Honestly for a student project this was a damn good showing of a survival airship game. Hope the team got an A on it.

Basic Gameplay Loop:

- Run around collecting resources, materials and blueprints. - Go back to your airship to craft gadgets, tools and consumables to survive. - Expand your airship as needed to accommodate more storage. - Move the ship to explore ruins and floating structures. - Try not to die of thirst. - Get back on the ship and fly higher so you can do it all over again.

Things Worth Noting:

- Grappling hook is fun to use as you can attach it to just about anything for quick traversal. - Though the airship is sluggish, for the most part the controls are pretty decent. - Using gears as "keys" to access certain structures was a pretty cool touch. - Being able to drop the ladder without being on the ship was a good move. - Wasn't a fan of how tools and gadgets take up space in the inventory. Would have preferred equipment slots/hotbar for those. - You can't cheese the health system by "healing" with bandages when you are dying of thirst. However, the game shouldn't consume the bandage if you try to. - Would be nice to have a speed indicator in the UI to indicate how fast the airship is moving. - My gut feeling is that thirst drops a little too fast, especially given how quenching it is driven heavily by timely exploration and looting. Perhaps slow it by 50%?

Overall I had a very good experience playing the demo. The team has definitely shown some good talent and capabilities when it comes to game design. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with in the future.
Great little game for the small team and quick timeline. Really cool premiss, however does need some polishing. Cons - No Settings (had to turn down through sound mixer and can adjust sensitivity) Jump is a little janky - Sometime i had double jump Water drops very quickly Doesn't explain how to increase ship storage size Switching inventory systems causes issue where menus overlap each other Pros - Fun Nice design I would love to see this with multiplayer. It would be really cool to fly around a world with other peoples airships that have been crafted from the scrap found around the world and i hope the team behind this decide to take it further. Great job, Would recommend giving this a try
5/10 good student project game bugged out in the gear shop and wouldnt let me move after awhile. no save system meant i needed to start over, and yea im not doing that at 2 am in the morning.
solid concept but some changes need to happen to make it a game worth playing long term first make the water deplete slower so its more manageable second make it more clear where everything is perhaps with a compass like fallout and also add settings and a saving system so you don't have to repeat overall though great idea and I understand its a student project and not all this may be possible but to really live up to the potential to be a game similar to raft those and a few more changes and additions will help
Hopefully not too critical just want to help honestly. Love the concept. I play a lot of hardcore survival games, so difficulty isn’t the issue. But the early-game water struggle feels excessive. The grapple hook breaks way too fast, and losing your wrench on death feels unnecessary. I get that it’s supposed to be challenging, but there’s a difference between meaningful difficulty and artificial frustration. Small design choices like that don’t make the game harder in a satisfying way. They just make it feel punishing for the sake of being punishing. I didn’t play long, but early-game balance matters. If the first impression feels tedious instead of rewarding, that’s going to push people away. Tips for the Developer The core concept is strong. There’s something here worth building on. But the early game balance needs serious tuning. Early friction should teach, not punish. Struggling for water right out of the gate doesn’t feel tense, it feels restrictive. Let players stabilize first, then increase pressure. Tool durability needs to feel fair. If the grapple hook breaks quickly, there needs to be either: Clear warning Easy early repair Or strong reward for using it Otherwise it just feels like a tax on exploration. Death penalties should match progression stage. Losing your wrench early feels excessive. Early deaths should cost time or positioning, not core progression tools. Save harsher penalties for later systems. Difficulty should feel intentional, not stacked. If everything is scarce, fragile, and punishing at once, it reads as overtuned rather than hardcore. If this was built on a tight timeline, that’s okay. Focus next on polish and balance passes. The concept deserves iteration.
Great concept with real potential. Unfortunately, the UI and bugs seriously get in the way. Using TAB to close menus constantly conflicts with system-level keyboard behavior; ESC or E would be far more intuitive. Making tools inventory items is also a problem. When my chest was full, I couldn’t swap items to retrieve my wrench and ended up throwing it into the void. My grappling hook later disappeared entirely, leaving my airship inaccessible and forcing me to end the run. Strong idea, but too many bugs and frustrating design choices right now.
I was enjoying this game at first but as many have mentioned, it has a few flaws. The UI is a bit broken, menus overlap and can be annoying. Almost dying of thirst every 5 mins gets really annoying and is very unrealistic No save options, which makes playing kinda pointless But it is a good idea and with a bit of polish could be good, so I will support this one
Controls are poor, keys don't work as expected quite often. Another low quality port to PC? Also don't really care for the aesthetic, it's far too chunky. Not a game for me.
