Keep your eyes happy and DO NOT play this game. No adventure, no steampunk and no achievements. BUT there's Great Cthulhu and he's steampunking laughing at you
gizli nesne bulmaca oyunu yavaş hareketler yüzünden biraz bayıyor ortalamanın altında köt maalesef
What ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ award
Поставил бы положительную оценку, если бы не куча моментов где надо собрать кусочки для головоломок, которые потом еще надо решить. Все эти кусочки часто сливаются с фоном и находятся на разных локациях.
Steampunker, developed by Telehorse and published by M.INDIE, is a hand-drawn steampunk adventure that blends hidden object gameplay with traditional point-and-click mechanics to create a distinctive, if uneven, experience. It follows Vincent, an inventor and explorer who embarks on a mission to save his world from a horde of invading machines. The game leans heavily on its atmospheric presentation, drawing players into a visually rich steampunk world filled with pipes, gears, submarines, rockets, and intricate contraptions. It’s a world that feels handmade, textured, and authentic to the genre’s fascination with mechanical fantasy. The setting alone promises a compelling ride for those who appreciate imaginative visual design and the sense of discovery that comes with exploring beautifully crafted environments. From a structural standpoint, Steampunker operates through a series of static scenes that serve as puzzles or interactive vignettes. Each area requires players to observe carefully, collect small items, and solve mechanical problems to unlock progress. The puzzles themselves range from logic-based challenges to straightforward hidden-object searches. Many of them draw inspiration from old-fashioned mechanical puzzles—rotating gears, aligning pipes, and manipulating levers to channel energy or open doors. Others rely on finding items scattered across cluttered scenes and using them in the correct sequence. These mechanics are familiar to fans of hidden object adventures, and while they don’t revolutionize the genre, they work adequately to maintain a steady flow of problem-solving. The inclusion of different puzzle types gives the gameplay some variety, though not all of them are executed with equal polish. The visual presentation is unquestionably Steampunker’s strongest feature. The game’s steampunk aesthetic is lovingly rendered with detailed, hand-drawn illustrations that evoke the feel of early industrial-era imagination mixed with fantasy. Every location is densely packed with gears, pipes, brass fixtures, and steam-powered inventions. The environments feel cohesive and authentic to the theme, showing clear passion for the art style. The color palette leans toward browns, sepias, and metallic grays, which helps maintain the gritty industrial atmosphere. The soundtrack, composed by Silver Rocket, complements the art direction with moody, mechanical tones and rhythmic industrial sounds, enhancing the immersion and sense of wonder. In terms of world-building, Steampunker succeeds in establishing a distinctive tone that feels more like an interactive art piece than a traditional game. Despite its strong artistic direction, the game suffers from pacing and design issues that occasionally undermine its charm. Vincent’s movement is deliberately slow, and combined with the game’s reliance on static screens, this creates a sense of sluggishness that can make progression feel tedious. The puzzles, while visually appealing, can be inconsistent in their logic—some are intuitive and satisfying, while others feel arbitrary or lack clear feedback. Hidden object segments, in particular, can become frustrating due to small, barely visible items that blend too well into the busy backgrounds. These moments often break the flow of play, turning what should be moments of clever discovery into exercises in pixel hunting. The interface itself is functional but clunky, occasionally requiring too much precision or offering limited cues about interactive areas. Narratively, Steampunker keeps things simple. The story of Vincent’s quest against robotic invaders is presented with minimal exposition and almost no dialogue, relying instead on visual storytelling and environmental cues. This minimalist approach suits the tone of the game but leaves little emotional depth. Vincent remains more of a vehicle for the puzzles than a developed protagonist, and while the world he inhabits is fascinating, the lack of narrative engagement limits the player’s connection to his journey. For some, the quiet and abstract storytelling may add to the atmosphere; for others, it might make the experience feel hollow or incomplete. The game’s length is modest, offering about a few hours of playtime depending on how quickly the player solves the puzzles. While this brevity may be acceptable for an indie adventure at a low price, the replay value is minimal once all puzzles are completed. There are no branching paths or hidden endings to encourage revisiting. Steampunker, therefore, functions best as a one-time experience—something to enjoy for its unique aesthetic and inventive setting rather than its long-term engagement. Technically, the game performs well on even the most basic hardware, reflecting its origins as a cross-platform release that also appeared on mobile. However, its design sometimes feels like a direct translation from those platforms, particularly in the simplicity of its interface and the small scale of its puzzles. On PC, these design choices can make the experience feel underdeveloped compared to larger point-and-click adventures. Yet, when judged as a small indie experiment, it carries a certain charm that offsets its shortcomings. Ultimately, Steampunker is a game defined by its visual ambition and artistic sensibility rather than its mechanics or storytelling depth. It’s a title that values style over substance, inviting players into a lovingly crafted world that evokes curiosity and admiration even when the gameplay falters. Its atmosphere, art, and music elevate what might otherwise have been an average puzzle game into something more distinctive, though not entirely fulfilling. For fans of steampunk art, hidden object adventures, or small indie curiosities with a strong creative identity, Steampunker is worth exploring—just don’t expect precision gameplay or a deeply layered story. It is a flawed but fascinating piece of interactive art, where the machinery of imagination takes precedence over the gears of perfect design. Rating: 5/10

Quick little game. Point and click. Puzzles. Problem solving. Good game to use to take a break from a longer, first-person, open-world type game.
