Steam Heroes

Steam Heroes is a very, very mediocre tile matching game where you must match three or more tiles in a row. To call this a Bejewelled ripoff is an understatement. What's very important and notable here is that the quality control is terrible despite the game featuring less content than EA's free "Peggle Deluxe". The game routinely fails to launch. Secondly, and this should be alarming to most, is that there's a $6 price tag on this tripe. $6 to ripoff gameplay that you can play for free in Flash in a web browser. Really makes you think. Why doesn't Valve have any quality control?

Steam Heroes ist ein Gelegenheitsspiel ähnlich den, vor allem im Mobile-Bereich, bekannten Spielen wie Jewel-Quest oder Candy Crush. Das Spiel hat einen Hauch von einem Steampunk-Szenario. Durch die verschiedenen Level wird man von kurzen Zwischensequenzen geführt, deren Writing und Sprachausgabe aber nicht gerade hochwertig sind. Zu dem normalen Gameplay kommt noch einiges als Hintergrundblitzgewitter hinzu, wodurch es manchmal wahrlich schwer wird dem Spiel zu folgen. Insgesamt ist das Spiel ein durchschnittliches Gelegenheitsspiel, welches man auf vielen Plattformen finden kann. Häufig bekommt man jedoch für das Geld von aktuell knapp 5,50€ deutlich bessere in diesem Genre,...manche davon sogar kostenlos.

Beat in half an hour. Earned first card during the credits. Mostly just match as quickly as possible with three exception levels (smokey, bombs, and poison potions) which just aggravated me more than a gameplay twist. If they were to make a sequel later down the line. Maybe make it the rpg battle system. It essentially already is. RPG match three, without the rpg, equipment, leveling system, etc. Pad out the game. Enjoyable enough. Plus controller support was great.
