Ce jeu de DINGUE!!! Quelle tuerie! <3<3<3
I just discover this new game and i like it a lot: The controls are impeccable, the game is carried by an great O.S.T and the obstacles are very original for a racing game, especially the big sliders and the following robots. I will definitely spend more time trying to beat the other players in the LB, and off course kill the speed run mode .

It's the first game I finish in 6 months. This is a fast and challenging game with a nice learning curve. Developers are nice and easy to talk to on their community Discord. Even though I am not particularly a fan of racing game or a huge gamer, I fell in love with this new genre of racing platformer. I strongly recommend!
Amazing game!! Really smooth control, great music and level design! Really reactive developers and community on Stay Safe discord aswell! Totally worth its price!!
After reading some inspiring Bruce Lee quotes, "Better safe than sorry" Doesn't cut it anymore.
Stay Safe is a High-octane arcade racer, made out of relatively short, but challenging tracks filled with all kinds of obstacles and hazards. Its a simple concept, but otherwise, well executed. The mechanics worked exactly as they should, in regards to game-play, track design, obstacles and patterns. So it all comes down to whether or not, you enjoy the genre. It isn't insanely hard, perhaps a little bit frustrating. Finishing a stage is a matter of minutes, but that translates to several deaths. And, just by nature of the genre alone, it is repetitive. It tries not to, but whatever it does, the objective is always the same, with some variety on the obstacles aspect.
GAME
Reach point B without getting destroyed, as fast as possible. Its a game of patience, track memorization, pattern recognition, reflexes And, identifying the best route through the obstacles. Each chapter progressively brings new and harder obstacles. Relying on timing, skill, and muscle memory. Every new obstacles, eventually bring a harder challenges, but the difficulty steadily increases to that point. First few tracks will introduce some new objects, but the difficulty only picks back up again a few stages after. That was an important factor, the game doesn't necessarily follow a linear path, and its often easier to start a new chapter from the beginning, that to immediately finish the one that was started. New stages and chapters open up as you progress and thats the best way to overcome frustration. Having 50+ deaths on one stage, and being able to end a game session by completing a different stage on a different location. Always leaves me at a better mood. There isn't much going on it terms of mechanics, although they will be useful, if absolutely necessary at times. Gliding - shares the left analog stick, it will also be used to control height while in the air. And at times it really needs you to be precise, like in landing on rails, or catching the one collectible item, one in every stage. Gliding is more useful than it looks, its one of those options that is hardly noticeable, but its not specific to crossing small gaps. even if most of the game can be played inside the track, but every now and then you cut part of the track, for a better time or just to avoid part of an hard section. Dashing - Back In Wipeout, the shoulder buttons where air-breaks. In here, you loose no speed at all. Used to avoid obstacles in tight spaces or tricking tracking objects into swerving in the wrong direction. Speed is crucial not just because of the leader board. Many of the obstacles are timed based, and require learning and memorizing the patterns, so it is a good thing that speed doesn't drop randomly every time you, in this game, "dash", Generally the timer doesn't differ enough to complicate things. Boost - I feel the only reason, some stages are hard or frustrating is, because no one lets go of the boost. Letting go is almost a last resort. I had totally giving up on a level with massive walls went back and forward, typically crushing me when backing up. And letting go of the boost, made this unbearable level, doable in just 3-5 tries. Of course at the cost of a really low score.
Variety
This one is almost nitpick y. i spent so much time looking at the obstacles on the tracks. Because there was that necessity, but theres a little bit going on around me. Like Areas that serve as background for each chapter. Problem is, there is a lack of variety. There are 3 different areas, one for each chapter and, with the exception of Chapter II, they all feel like the same continuous background. Now, Chapter II, is a futurist city with multiple structures and tall corporate buildings, and each stage feels different enough. On the bright side, the presentation is quite good.
GRAPHICS
Stay Safe approaches a dystopian future setting, with the few locations compromising of Barren deserts, dark areas, or cities filled with tall corporate like buildings. You wont see amazing textures, effects or light. But it is a quite good looking game with an overabundance of Neon Purple.
MUSIC
Went for quality over quantity. It fits well within the level and goes for long enough, as you keep dying, that it almost becomes like background music. But i felt like i was listening to the same song for quite a long time. Fortunately we got some Synthwave here. Other Features I don't quite understand the purpose of the stats. All it shows is the players play time. Ghosts however are a really useful feature. Good way to keep track of personal best, friends best times, and world records.
Final thoughts
Try the demo. This is a rather simple and well executed game. Im sure its enough to get a feel for the controls and the mechanics in use. I think my biggest issue is the lack in variety from, track design, areas, music. Stay Safe is one of the best games I have ever played in my life. Since I finished super hexagon 5 times, I had no more games to show off my skills at my Friends and so prove them I am not a n00b at every games... :'( Thanksfull to Stay Safe my skin is bright and smooth. I am so happy to beat my friends and ridicule them.
This game is a very good discovery. Great ambiance, excellent music and extremely good controls. Sometimes you feel like the difficulty ramps a bit too quickly, but in a sense it makes you even more happy to finish a level. The game mechanics allow you to improve a lot and to grind the LB. I hope there will be more features added in the game soon (Ghosts, Speedrun mode ...etc).
Sinon super jeu !
An insanely difficult but very fun racer!
Stay Safe is a fast, unforgiving indie action-racing platformer developed and published by Atomic Raccoon Studio that thrives on precision, repetition, and pure reflex mastery. From the very first moments, the game makes its intentions clear: this is an experience built around speed and danger, where hesitation is punished and success is earned through memorization and flawless execution. Rather than easing players in with forgiving mechanics, Stay Safe embraces a “learn by failure” philosophy, positioning itself squarely within the tradition of hardcore arcade challenges that reward persistence and improvement over raw accessibility. The core gameplay loop is deceptively simple yet brutally effective. Players pilot a small craft that moves continuously forward at high speed, with no option to slow down or brake. Every level becomes a race against both the environment and your own reaction time, as you weave through narrow corridors, dodge spinning blades, leap across gaps, and navigate shifting obstacles that demand perfect timing. Because movement is constant, success hinges on anticipating hazards rather than reacting to them at the last second. Each crash is instantaneous and lethal, but respawns are nearly immediate, encouraging rapid iteration and learning rather than frustration-induced downtime. Level design is where Stay Safe truly proves its strength. The game features dozens of compact stages, each carefully constructed to teach specific mechanics or obstacle patterns before combining them into increasingly complex challenges. Early levels introduce concepts gradually, allowing players to build confidence, but the difficulty curve ramps up steadily until later stages require near-perfect execution. Memorization becomes just as important as reflexes, as knowing when and where hazards appear often determines success more than raw speed. For players who enjoy mastering tightly tuned systems, this structure creates a deeply satisfying sense of progression. Beyond the main campaign, Stay Safe offers additional content designed for players seeking even greater punishment. Optional ultra-difficult levels push the game’s mechanics to their limits, demanding absolute precision and flawless runs. Time attack modes and online leaderboards add a competitive edge, encouraging players to replay levels repeatedly in pursuit of faster times and cleaner executions. This emphasis on replayability transforms the game into a long-term skill challenge rather than a one-and-done experience, especially appealing to speedrunners and perfectionists. Visually, Stay Safe adopts a sleek futuristic aesthetic dominated by neon colors, sharp geometric shapes, and industrial environments. While not graphically complex, the visual design is intentionally minimalistic to ensure clarity at high speeds. Obstacles stand out clearly against backgrounds, allowing players to read the playfield quickly even during chaotic sequences. Though environments can feel somewhat repetitive over long sessions, this consistency also helps reinforce pattern recognition, which is central to the game’s design philosophy. The audio design complements the visuals with electronic and synth-heavy music that reinforces the sense of momentum and urgency. The soundtrack maintains a steady rhythm that pairs well with repeated attempts, helping players slip into a focused, almost hypnotic flow state. Sound effects are functional and sharp, providing clear feedback for collisions and interactions without distracting from gameplay. While the audio presentation doesn’t aim for emotional storytelling, it succeeds in amplifying the game’s adrenaline-fueled identity. Stay Safe is not a game designed to appeal to everyone. Its reliance on trial-and-error, strict punishment for mistakes, and limited gameplay variety may frustrate players looking for a more forgiving or narrative-driven experience. However, for those who appreciate arcade-style challenges and the satisfaction of mastering demanding mechanics, these same qualities become its greatest strengths. The game respects the player’s ability to learn and improve, offering little hand-holding but ample reward for dedication. In the end, Stay Safe stands as a focused and confident indie title that knows exactly what it wants to be. It delivers a relentless test of reflexes and memory wrapped in a clean, futuristic presentation, offering a pure skill-based experience that thrives on repetition and mastery. For fans of hardcore platformers, high-speed racers, and “one more try” gameplay loops, Stay Safe offers a compact but deeply rewarding challenge that consistently pushes players to sharpen their skills and stay sharp under pressure.
