havent even beaten the game and i already crapped myself

This game had an amazing atmosphere and graphics BUT the game itself as a game IS HOT GARBAGE. The mechanics are unfair in every way both the controls and the butchers ai. The butcher for no reason will only scout 3 meters away from your hiding spot, he can hear even the smallest of the small sounds and detect the smallest hint of light. Secondly the puzzles are unsolvable without a guide to tell you what to do bcs there is literally no way to understand or find out what to do especially when the space is way too small and the limited inventory along with the butcher constantly camping around you. The game loses its scare factor from how annoying and how repetitive it becomes after you inevitably die too many times you just wanna get over with it. The bugs it has make it even more frustrating and unplayble for example when items from your invetory dispawn even in the locker room where the butcher takes your items when you lose the day and when the butcher can see you and hit you through walls and also see you from under the table even tho you didnt alarm him nor made a noise or had a light. Escaping once spotted especially early on is impossible when the butcher has set cameras and strings and bear traps it becomes a repetitive loop around the map untill you run out of stamina and also the butcher always takes the shortcut chasing you instead of running behind you and outplay making escape more difficult than human limits can reach. I checked the endings on youtube only for them to suck in terms of concept i mean it had some sort of expected cultist ♥♥♥♥ but the ''entity '' was lame and generic as an outcome of the horror and ruined all expectations and mystery. Notes generic . The butcher was silly and boring after seeing his ugly mag for the 1550th time in act 1 . I have to give it tho the satisfaction of shooting that lame grandma dead and watching from under the bed the butcher crash out and throw a tantrum . Also real ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that the butcher turns around when he steps on the bear trap you set as if the game knew you would try to get his key and also he can additionally hit you while he is at it . The dog was cute also a good trait of the game and i dont mean the one at the beggining of the game . In conclusion hella dissapointing game from such a good developer that has made other good horror games like nun massacre and the watchtower but this game was good at paper bad at practise . Atmosphere : 8/10 story : 3/10 ( bcs of the endings) Gameplay : a good fair 1/10 controls: 5/10 graphics: 6/10 for the type of game Horror : 10/10 in the beginning and 0/10 from act 1 and after Overall : 4,6/10 try better next time.

Puppet combo never disappoints, but this has to be one of their best games. The sound design induces a visceral panic just as well as in all their games, but to me personally, it hits especially hard in this one. The atmosphere is creepy, the gameplay is challenging (Granny on steroids, with a genuinely smart ai), and the entire product is really well polished and contains a lot of content for an indie game. If I were to give any piece of criticism, it would be that the tonal clash between the two parts of the game (the house and the [spoiler]lab[/spoiler]) doesn't work in the game's favour.

The lore behind this game that connects to other puppet combo games is insane. Amazing gameplay would recommend im going to 100% it.
