great game, must play!
Прикольная игра в которой нужно не только думать, но и предчустовать опасность. Однозначно 10/10.

Peli itseasiassa oli oikein kiva vaikka jäi turhan lyhyeksi. Se tarjosi sopivan vaikeita pulmia eikä ajojahti osuudet olleet ylivoimaisia. Itse oisin halunnut enemmä juonta/tarinointia/infoa igorista/muista hahmoista ,mutta on mahdollista että meni jotain ohitse itseltä. Shortly: + fitting puzzles + fun2play - too short
This should be called Toni Game. It is very much extension of it's author's personality. Somewhat crude, amateurish, all it's good ideas are accidents and it urgently needs more mustache. But it unquestionably has certain cheesy charm. +1
A game with it's own character, highly recommended to check it out, especially when on sale!
Status: Insane is really good!! And insanely weird!!! I had my WTF face while playing most of the game, lol, but it was really fun! You are trying to run away from a mental asylum, while solving puzzles and avoiding bad guys and you own insanity. The puzzles are really well designed and new mechanics are added often enough so that it never gets boring. This game is great for people who like puzzles, as well as people who like collecting things, since there are a bunch of optional collectables (hats, paintings and letters) to find along the way, which also adds some replay value if you want to find them all. The game took me about 2 hours to complete and I still have a couple of collectables to find and secrets to unlock. If you're looking for great puzzles in an insanely strange and original game, this is the game for you! Game is weird, in a good way. one of those games thats gonna make you think a bit. has some late ps2 /early ps3 era toony graphics but i think that choice was deliberate. i like the game overall.
“Pleasantly surprised by this little gem. It feels like a platform game with a touch of puzzle elements. Excellent level design and humor too. It is really silly but in the best way possible. Strange, quirky, and cute. I highly recommend STATUS 7/10
STATUS: INSANE, developed and published by Frostbullet, is a surreal indie adventure that blends puzzle-solving, stealth mechanics, and dark humor into a compact but memorable escape experience. Set within the walls of a bizarre mental institution, the game follows Igor, a patient determined to break free from confinement. However, his situation is complicated not only by the guards and security systems around him, but also by the constant interference of his imaginary companion, Flead, who actively attempts to sabotage his efforts. This dual conflict—external and internal—forms the core of the game’s identity and gives it a distinctive personality that separates it from more conventional escape adventures. The asylum setting serves as more than just a backdrop; it becomes an active participant in the experience. Each section of the facility introduces a different theme, from retro mechanical areas filled with industrial machinery to futuristic, high-security zones packed with advanced devices. The environments are exaggerated and stylized, leaning heavily into absurdity rather than realism. This design choice reinforces the game’s tone, which walks a careful line between eerie and comedic. The atmosphere often feels intentionally chaotic, as if the world itself reflects the instability implied by the title. Gameplay is structured around a combination of stealth, environmental puzzles, and light action elements. Players must sneak past guards armed with tranquilizers, avoid traps, manipulate switches, and interact with unusual contraptions to unlock new paths. Because Igor begins bound in a straitjacket, even simple interactions feel mechanically unusual, reinforcing the sense of limitation and tension. The puzzles are generally intuitive but varied, requiring observation and experimentation rather than brute-force trial and error. While not overly complex, they are integrated smoothly into the environment, encouraging players to remain attentive to their surroundings. One of the more interesting aspects of STATUS: INSANE is the presence of Flead, Igor’s inner voice and self-proclaimed adversary. Flead’s commentary injects humor and unpredictability into the experience, sometimes offering misleading advice or actively interfering with progress. This dynamic adds narrative flavor without overwhelming the gameplay. The dialogue and interactions maintain a playful tone, even when the setting veers toward unsettling territory. The game does not attempt to present a deeply layered psychological drama; instead, it embraces absurdity and satire, creating a world that feels intentionally exaggerated. The level design supports replayability through hidden collectibles and optional discoveries. Notes scattered throughout the asylum provide bits of lore and worldbuilding, while cosmetic rewards and achievements encourage exploration beyond the main objectives. Though the overall runtime is relatively short, the density of secrets and alternate interactions invites players to revisit levels. This compact structure ensures that the experience remains focused, never overstaying its welcome or diluting its central ideas. Visually, STATUS: INSANE employs a cartoon-inspired art style with exaggerated character models and environments. The graphics are modest but cohesive, reinforcing the surreal tone rather than aiming for realism. Lighting and color choices shift subtly across different sections of the asylum, helping distinguish thematic zones. Sound design further enhances immersion, with a soundtrack that alternates between eerie undertones and whimsical melodies. The audio complements the unpredictable atmosphere, enhancing both tense moments and comedic beats. While creative and distinctive, the game does have limitations. Its relatively short length may leave some players wanting a more expansive narrative or deeper gameplay systems. Certain mechanics, particularly stealth interactions, can feel simplistic compared to larger genre titles. Additionally, the surreal tone may not resonate with players who prefer grounded storytelling or more traditional horror elements. However, these constraints also define the game’s scope, keeping it tightly focused on delivering a unique and unconventional experience. Ultimately, STATUS: INSANE stands out as a compact indie adventure driven by creativity and personality. It offers a blend of puzzles, stealth, and absurd humor that feels cohesive within its bizarre setting. Rather than aiming for technical grandeur or narrative complexity, it succeeds by embracing its eccentric premise and executing it with consistency. For players open to quirky, offbeat adventures with a touch of psychological satire, STATUS: INSANE delivers a distinctive and entertaining escape into controlled chaos. Rating: 7/10
