STATIC: Investigator Training

Nice little game for the price. If this seems interesting to you, be aware that it's not about a great story or voice acting. Play it for its ultra cool style, the screenshots are giving the right impression about it. About 1 hour playtime, I was entertained. Liked it that they didn't give a damn about some instagram-like characters in this.

I love the concept of this game with the FMV-esque retro game feel. It's quite clever and I wish someone would do more of this style of gameplay!!!

Adventure - FMV - Photo/Film Additional Tags: Delete Local Content & Remove from Library TLDR: Amateur P&C adventure with limited FVM assets used as replacement for coding talent. Writing and story is flat. Horror is indirect by gathering clues and not very credible. Not much acting talent. Not very atmospheric. Tedious. Execution has serious quirks. Tedious easter egg hunt style gameplay where hotspots are scattered everywhere, some of which are responsive to different tools of which you pick three out of five at game's beginning. At some point you collected all kinds of over the top and silly evidence and you just cannot seem to check you you have progressed or have any way of turning this stuff in to someone. Gets harder and harder to keep backtracking everywhere using everything on everything. Actors have a flat delivery and the setting a simple ghosthunt tv show/amateur team kind of deal where you are auditioning as an intern to join the team. I was expecting a lot of FMV assets and cheap horror experience. But instead I got actors that were used as a replacement for coding in animated sprites. So you get custscenes occasionally when leaving or entering areas and you get a small idle animation of the protag as they sit in place. The shrinking and enlargement based on distance was quirky but alright :P I had to auto-minimize windows toolbar because the game would not fullscreen correctly and I could not not escape dialogue options otherise. Putting the game in windowed mode will crash to desktop. Game froze for several minutes on one occasion but recovered. Did not enjoy my experience.

I'm playing this under windows 10 and the game is so slow it is unplayable. Loading from a save game crashes. Tried it with windows 7 compatibility - same deal with slowness, crashed just as I was leaving the graveyard. I ended up setting my screen resolution to 1280x800 and setting the compatibility mode to windows xp sp 3. Now I can save and load games and walking around is no longer super slow. I probably spent more time trying to get it to work than I did playing... I was able to complete the game - it's quite short. Some of the text in diaries etc are hard to read and voice recording tool doesn't really sound like anything but static to me. The pendulum tool was quite nice as was the camera. Overall, I can't really recommend but it does have a kind of hokey charm - if you want to try it - buy it on sale...

Low-budged, casual FMV-Game. Nothing special, good story with some spooky moments, character-graphics are low quality, FMV sequences are OK. Playing time is 1,5 hrs. Bought it for 1€, its worth.

I don't understand why the devs decided on placing the character profiles on top of the actual characters in the game during discussions. It makes no sense to me. Surely it would have been better to place them next to and within the actual text box itself? Only buy if you want a laugh.

oyun ♥♥♥ kısa suruyor karakterler gercek insanlar olması güzel fakat onların davranış duruş yürüyüş ve konuşmaları daha gerçekçi olsaydı daha iyi olurdu oyun çok kısa olmasından kaybediyor illuminati sembolleride alenen gösteriliyor yani ben farkediyorum artık bilemiyorum bu oyunu almanızı tavsiye etmem hikaye tam oturmamış kontrollerde biraz sıkıntı var ama idare eder aşırı derecede kısa bir oyun (son olarak şunu söylemeliyim bu tür oyunlar gerçekten ilgi çekici bir altyapıda çok severek oynadığım oyun türlerinden bir tanesi fakat bu oyundaki eksikliklerden dolayı tavsiye edebilmem mümkün değil bu tür oyunları daha çok yapımcı üretmesi gerekir( benim yorumlamam bu kadar :D)
