About
Stargate: Timekeepers is a tactical game in which you lead a team of specialists through a story-driven campaign featuring an original narrative set in the Stargate SG-1 universe. Sneak a newly formed team behind enemy lines, use your characters’ unique skills, craft the perfect plan and defeat the Goa’uld threat.
Stargate: Timekeepers departs from the end of season 7 of the Stargate SG-1 main plot to create an original story, unfolding over 14 narrative-rich missions. Your adventure starts during the Battle of Antarctica, where Commander Eva McCain and her team are supporting the SG-1 against Anubis’s fleet.
Sometime later, Eva and her team of specialists are tasked with a new mission in the Stargate universe: help the Jaffa Resistance, prevent brutal rituals, strike against Moloc’s army, and seek an alliance with the Unas.
Lead a team of specialists operating behind enemy lines. Use your characters’ unique skills to come up with perfectly synchronized plans to overcome Kull Warriors, Jaffa Generals, Moloc’s Officers and many new and original enemies.
Natural leader and long-time soldier, Eva McCain is a master of automatic rifles and experienced at spotting weak points. Extremely agile and an expert sniper, Max Bolton can hide in a ghillie suit to find the perfect spot to take down enemies from long distances. Sam Watson, trained spy and technical officer, is an expert on alien gadgetry. Derreck Harper’s drones carry out some of the most difficult tasks, including healing allies and deactivating hostile electronic devices. The core team from Tau’ri makes friends along the way: A’ta, Jaffa rebel and sneaky thief who carries a Ma’tok staff for short-range combat; and Xugga, a powerful yet good-natured Unas veteran who joins your team along with a little friend.
Each individual has a set of unique abilities: play smart and combine them to silently eliminate your enemies in quick succession. Tactical Mode allows you to synchronize your characters’ actions perfectly.

First game that I requested a refund. Clunky mechanics, meh presentation, grating voice acting. Didn't even finish the first level before I gave up on it. Not even being a fan of the show is enough to save this game. Indeed.
I am a huge fan of Stargate and I really, really wanted to like this game but its one of the clunkiest most poorly designed games that i have ever played. I would not recommend this game for anyone but the most hardened masochists.
Short Discussion: I've had good fun playing Stargate Timekeepers and it's certainly gotten better the more i played. From the start i was 50/50 on how much i'd enjoy it as I've never played stealth/tactic style games before. It holds a lot of nostalgic moments from the series, but all i can say is do a bit of research before purchasing the game, this style of game isn't for everyone, it's slower paced and requires a lot of patience. Long Discussion: Pros: -I loved seeing literally anything from the show, like the F-302, Al'kesh, Tel'tak and even the mimetic device haha. You can also use a ZAT gun (which i recommend playing on story mode so you can use it accurately to the show with no Ammo cap). -It ties in with the end of Season 7. -The story is pretty good, kinda plays homage to the episode Window of Opportunity -The gameplay is fun, it was difficult for me at first but after practice its fine. -The variety of unique abilities where good fun. -The main menu being in the gate room looks really cool Cons: -The voice work feels off in many ways, it never feels like they're in the situation. -No XP gaining or upgrades, i feel this game could've benefited highly with this. -In some areas the controls seem a bit clunky. -There are still quite a few bugs in missions and achievements not unlocking (This can still be fixed), but I've had to reload saves or replay a mission because it wouldn't go further. -I would've loved to of heard more music sounding similar to the show Stargate is my all time favourite franchise and I've always said that Stargate video games has major potential across all genres as the series has incredibly rich lore. This still isn't the exact Stargate game I've always wanted to play personally, I think there is high potential for an open world FPS style game, this doesn't reach the epic scale that the shows does BUT i wouldn't criticise this game for that, this is a stealth/tactics commando style game and for what it is, i think it's entertaining and i would still recommend for any Stargate fan or fan of the game genre.
It's a decent game - not the best in the genre, but definitely enjoyable. The story is solid, the team members' abilities are well thought out, and the level design is great. On the downside, some animations are a bit stiff, there are occasional bugs (I had to restart one mission and lost about an hour of progress), and a few achievements are broken (had to use SAM to unlock them). If you like the Stargate universe and stealth strategies (like I do) go for it - just not at full price.
I'm really a big fan of Stargate but sadly this game is not fun. It's kind of clunky and I find most defeats are from accidental clicks or fumbling around trying to tie up a knocked out enemy. I really wanted the first Stargate game in a long time to be fun but sadly it's not. I can hope there will be a better one in the future.
Imaginez ...
I'm a Stargate fan, and grew up playing Commando's, Cannon Fodder, and other great simple, yet challenging games like this. It's just fun to be immersed in the story and environment. Though - I'm glad they didn't try to make Stargate into a first person shooter, I do think there's probably an opportunity for a No Man's Sky / Star Trek Online version, where you explore various planets via the Stargate -- but, I'll take this throw back to Commando's and enjoy the updated graphics and features.
Schade. LG
