Note: This review is purely based on my personal opinion and totally subjective. As long as I, who write the review like the game, no matter what the problems it has, I will give a positive review. This is a 3D puzzle platformer game with gravity defying mechanic, the puzzles are quite good, and some of them are surprisingly simple in unexpected way, like they are really good at making things look like it was so complicated but actually it was very simple to solve. And I love it. The non-bosses combat are very simple, and most of them almost feels like just a filler. But the boss fights are... good, well they are not great, but all of them are tactical based fights (or maybe some could called Zelda-like) where you need to do certain things before you can actually attack them and they had attack pattern. The story is decent, it has some interesting part, there are some comedic, seriousness, and morals. But some of them are easily forgettable. The music is quite good, but the graphic is, hmm..., despite this was initially released on 2014 (afaik) the graphic looks dated, it certainly look like a game from early 2000s and only support 4:3 resolutions. Not only that, sounds are also in low quality, and the voice acting (the only voice are when the character is jumping and attacking though) is also kind of really amateur, no emotion or whatsoever. And one more thing, the control is very weird, and I still feel uncomfortable about it. It was just bad. Well, I understand they are just a really small circle/indie developer, but maybe they should put more effort to polish the game a little bit, making it a bit more pleasant to eyes, ears, and easy to control. Well, I did say this review is based on personal opinion, so despite the bad graphic, sound, and control, my contentment score is: 4/5 - I like it! Good 3D puzzle platformer with a really weird control.
Absolutely terrible game, controls don't sync up to an xbox controller, and there is no way from the in game interface to alter what the non-button inputs do. Jump in the game is so delayed it makes dodging enemies far more of a chore than it should be. Finally no resolution for 1920*1080, like what the heck?
This game certainly got potential. It's not very popular but I dare say. Very good concept, though feels a bit incomplete. Gameplay is very platformer, has both good puzzles and good action. To 100% this game, you require battle skills because true final boss stage is very hard. Moving camera is kinda painful, has a lot of vertigo-inducing parts, though, it's just enough to be fun. Story is almost not needed. Sounds and graphics go pretty well together. What I like about this game is that they teach all you need to know from the get-go, unlike some platformer games where whenever you find a secret path you ask 'what? I can do this like this?' Puzzles are challenging, battles are exciting and fast. What I dislike about this game is that they don't repeat the basics for you. If you want to relearn how to pull off combos or deal with strange problems, you'll have to figure them out again. Well, there's a (*pretty much complete) guide on how to clear the whole thing with which I'm a bit involved.
If Super Mario Galaxy had a younger cousin it would be this game.
I bought this game on a whim and gameplay although the default button mapping is weird feels unique, its a cool game if you want somthing different in your library
