About
Hop into the driver's seat of your rocket-powered big rig as you haul cargo, scavenge for salvage and interact with an eclectic cast of star-hopping truckers in this Americana-infused journey on the ultimate open road - space!

Hi, this is Monster and Monster. Star Trucker is our tiny indie team's passion project, and we’re committed to making it the best intergalactic trucking game we can. By listening to the community, we’re working hard to improve the experience with every update. So buckle up and join us for the long haul!

Your truck is not a starship. We’ve taken typical vehicular controls then made sure zero-g momentum played a big part in maneuvers. The result is a unique driving experience that’s easy to pick up yet hard to master!
Cruise the hyper highways, taking on a variety of jobs such as fuel hungry long hauls and hazardous drop-offs to earn cash and unlock new content.
And don't forget to monitor the CB radio for chatter from fellow truckers; it's a fantastic way to uncover side gigs and stay updated on galactic gossip.

Keeping your rig runnin’ isn’t always easy. You’ll need to keep your core systems online, gravity compensator spinnin’ and hull patched to prevent your cab from leaking lung juice.
Be sure to make pre-trip shop stops for replacement parts, and consider upgrading your truck at a local garage. These improvements are vital for safely navigating volatile sectors and ensuring timely deliveries.

Use the galactic map to plan your journey and warp jumps, while keeping an eye on your fuel reserves and power levels.
Once your route is set, kick back, crank up the cab hi-fi and cruise to a selection of original songs covering starburst blues, galactic rock and asteroid infused americana. The open road is waiting!

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Well, after two years I guess it's finally time to write a review. The game... isn't exactly perfect. But it does its job right. Let me elaborate. The idea is simultaneously unique and fun. Huge and bulky semitrucks in space with ability to follow the "roads" or taking your own routes at the risk of damaging the hull due to the sometimes immense amout of debris hanging around. I absolutely love the immersion with its physics and ability to interact with everything. The story is fine, it isn't exactly relevant and mostly used to slow down player's progress and make you spend more time in the game (AND IT'S FINE) but here come the flaws. Although every gate has their own unique environments such as dust surrounding the entire gate and forcing you to use a sonar, a solar eclipse happeninig 24/7, some gates being literally just heaps of trash floating in the space vacuum and etc. (it's just the most memorable in my opinion), the world itself feels a little bland. First time in every gate feels great, but the more you visit them, the more they begin to annoy you. Sometimes the game mechanics just don't feel fun and only serve to punish the player (why?) Oh yeah, here it comes. Why do my rig's upgrades wear down? It doesn't make any sense. I could be doing anything when my engine upgrades suddenly degrade and turn off and now I'm forced to burn to the closest mechanic to pay 2-10 grands to fix it depending on the state of your rig's upgrades. And there isn't even a difficulty option to turn it off! But nevertheless it was a great experience. I greatly enjoyed completing this game twice and then playing some venture which was cool and refreshing. This game isn't all about hauling loads either, you can buy (or scavenge) stuff cheap and and then sell it in another gate for big profits! Overall cool game, if only it had bigger audience so the developers could focus on expanding the world and current mechanics instead of just adding more simple stuff
Concept is good but need more tweaks to be good and a modding tools
