In Star Trek Online, the Star Trek universe appears for the first time on a truly massive scale. Players take the captain's chair as they command their own starship and crew. Explore strange new worlds, seek out new life and new civilizations, and boldly go where no one has gone before.
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. The player count below is how many people own it, not what they spent.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.

Insgesamt das beste Sci-Fi-Game!
surprisingly good, expected a money-grab. Runs very well.
Program works good. Very useful. My mother-in-law came over, inspected it for 20 minutes, used it once, and didn't say anything bad. She just nodded and went back to the living room. That is the highest honor a household item can receive in a Chinese family. 10/10. And I'm not even Chinese or have a mother-in-law.

I've been playing STO off and on since 2014. If you're a fan of Star Trek, you're going to love it.
The game has aged, badly. Not obvious at first, but misleading mission pointers based on an over ten year old structure do not help at all, so you are sent "somewhere" on a huge map. Bugged missions (allies stick in space firing at nothing while you are torn apart) are quite common, Some of these bugs have been reported multiple times over a whole decade ... and NOTHING changed. Don't waste money on shoddily coded and barely maintained titles like this one.
One of the best games i've ever played
Game is practically unplayable due to the severe lag issues
it's an old game that suffers from a lot of downsides of a long-term life for a live service game. Mostly inflation, but if you can get around the learning curve that can be overcome with wise use of available resources. But, if you are a fan of the star-trek series and lore this game is an absolute living work of art that will offer you lots of enjoyable adventure with friends or on your own. Boldly go Captain!
spending money makes it better, which is icky. but the episodic nature is fun, space battles are fun, and there arent very many good options to experience star trek universe. you also DO THE SNAKE!!
Not my cuppa tea, Earl Grey, hot. Surprised it's still going, tho, for those Trekkies so desperate for a fix.
