For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

4/10 I've never liked grand strategy or 4x games. Total war: Empire has been the only one I've been able to get into, and this game does little to change that. As a star trek fan, at least until Jar-Jar Abrams and Kurtzman ruined it though I still like the games, I thought this game might change that. It has not. A lot of reviews call this a payed mod for another game and that it was left unfinished. I don't know about any of that and I only got it off a deep sale. I had problems just getting the game to start so that's already one strike against it. One of the biggest problem for these kind of games is they are very hard for newcomers to get into and this game is no exception. From the very start, the amount of information in the small hud that is available and the different options are overwhelming and the layout of the options and tools are very unintuitive. The "tutorial" did very little to alleviate this. Rather than having say, a separate mode for this, it just has some additional popups and mini missions that periodically pop up while playing the main game. I gave up after a few hours as I was falling behind badly from trying to learn the interface and follow the tutorial missions. This is all stuff that total war does far better. I can actually play that game with out bumbling around for hours and having to learn from trial and error. The poor visuals and sound are also pretty poor. There seems to be a bit of a story for each faction through the faction missions, but at that point I couldn't care less. It seems to tie into the new post Jar-Jar trek anyway. Maybe people that are already into these types of games will have a better time but for novices, stay away.
Great game. If you like strategy and star Trek it's a good pick.
nettes kleines spiel
Nice and Laid back. Very relaxing.

stellaris is obviously better, however this game is quite unique. hope they come back to it one day
I have been playing Paradox games since the earliest days of the original Crusader Kings, when you couldn't even delete your saves through the interface. I have always supported their strategy games, and love Star Trek, so pre-order of this was a no brainer for me. This is a huge cash grab and a slap in the face that it won't be supported. I am not sure why you are reading these reviews, if you need further convincing from the overwhelming negativity of even fanbois like me - go ahead and buy it. It's the only way you will learn. This is literally the last pre-order with Paradox for anything other than CK or Stellaris I'll ever do. I am still dumb but I am less dumb because of this purchase.
