Abandoned game and unfinished.
Paradox, seriously? Absolutely disgusting. So they get your money, abandon the game, and then don't let you refund? They won't update anymore, they've abandoned this broken piece of trash, I hope CBS sues the HELL out of you, for ruining their IP. First you screw CS2 up, now you screw this up! I've lost faith in Paradox.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

very basic game with no real depth in end game. very limited gameplay options. a reskin of stellaris. bought the game thinking it would also be expanded upon and get more content and expansions, etc. nope soon after they released they abandoned the game. just an attempt at a money grab. game will give you maybe 20 hours of fun
Tja, was soll man sagen? Mit Warp 9 fallen gelassen und in einem Zustand hinterlassen worden, der dem der Föderation nach dem Brand gleicht.
Unfortunately this seems to have developed into a cash grab. Made by people that don't understand star trek, as shown by its numerous bugs and obvious lore errors, before being abandoned. Wish I could get a refund, but it's too late. My money is long gone.
I am now about 50 hours into the game and I really cannot concur with all the negative fuss spread in the reviews. Yes, the game is still a little bit buggy. And yes, it is unfortunate that Paradox has discontinued development of the game. And yes, why should you play Star Trek Infinite when you can also play Stellaris? However, for all the hardcore Trekkies out there, this is THE game we have been waiting for 25 years, ever since Microprose brought us BOTF (Birth of the Federation). Being a clone of Stellaris, Star Trek Infinite is a grand strategy space game beautifully embedded in the Star Trek universe. It's nothing special, but it's fun to send Jean Luc Picard and his Enterprise on missions and to see all your little Star Trek ships, that you know so well from the shows, in space combat action. The game has a very steep learning curve and a really bad tutorial, so getting into the game takes quite some patience and time. Bugs are existent, bug none of them are really game breaking. Bottom line: I would not hesitate to recommend this game to every single Trekkie that is willing to invest a lot of time to see a major power in the Star Trek universe to grow and expand. Everyone else is probably better off with the original, namely Stellaris. My verdict: for Trekkies: 9/10, for regular strategy game players: 6/10. Engage!
On their discord the devs have recently said the game is no longer receiving updates FYI
Incomplete and abandoned by the developer
I really tried to give this game a shot, it had so much potential. Clearly the DEV abandoned the game. Leaving everyone pretty much like WTF. I personally will never buy anything again from this dev.
Nothing more than a money grab, the stellaris "Star Trek Mod" is infinitly better.
