Shame on Paradox!! Appalling, unplayable and half-finished, this is nothing like what was promised. Will never buy another paradox game
Unfortunately, unless this game is heavily updated, I don't see the purpose of purchasing this when Stellaris has Star Trek mods for free that work so much better.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Star Trek: Infinite is a standalone story campaign and modpack for Stellaris. By no stretch of the imagination is it worth anything resembling full price, *especially* if you already own Stellaris. I pad around $15 for it and I don't feel cheated. The game works; the engine is robust; the sound and visuals are nice and Trekky. If you like Stellaris and love Star Trek, this is worth a play-through with each faction. If you love Star Trek and aren't sure about Stellaris. try this. If you like STI, you will like Stellaris. There's a lot here that I hope gets carried-over into Stellaris 2, and a few things I wish they'd done differently. Overall, not a bad game. It is exactly what it says on the box. EDIT: I just wrote a novella about all the differences between this and Stellaris (there are several, and they are worth experiencing). Steam decided not to save it, and I can't be arsed to write it all up again right now. PS I don't know why, but the latest crop of Star Trek games don't have Star Trek music. Weird. This game has very "Treky" sounding music, but not actual music from Star Trek.
Abandon-ware, stinky butt behavior.
You want to know the simplest and best way to describe Star Trek: Infinite? It's the PS Vita of video games. Pushed into the world, bright eyed and full of potential, and then promptly dropped into a closet and forgotten about like Harry Potter if he never became a wizard. I've pushed myself past the point of reasonable to like this game. Ultimately, it's not worth it. It's an overpriced demo for Stellaris, basically, and will never see any support again. Go buy Stellaris and install a few mods, it'll be more fun than waiting a literal fifteen minutes for this to load into a single game again.
I have played this and own Stellaris but played this now finally before I jump to Stellaris - It gets alot of hate but I see the Goal - Have the four main factions remain in the Universe and win by Star Trek methods - It can be improved it could be so much more - If players would just encourage and help instead of hate and trash it could be somuch more - Grateful to the modders - Wish it would be a more productive game and design and community -but celest' vie
Abandonware - no updates for 2 years, none coming
Nicht empfohlen keine Entwicklung mehr seit Dezember. Dabei gibt es soviele Punkte zum ansetzen. Bitte nicht kaufen. Und überweist den Käufern bitte das Geld zurück. Sehr enttäuscht.
