About
Star Stuff is deceptively cute programming puzzle game for curious minds of all kinds. Join Mija, a brand-new star engineer, as they take on over 150 mind-bending factory puzzles.

Looks cute, right? Making stars isn’t as easy as you might think, but you aren’t alone! Your work in the factory is supported by a variety of bots with many different capabilities. Some bots are able to lift heavy objects, and some can solve complex problems with lasers - which is a pretty enviable skill. Just make sure you keep your goggles on.

Once you’ve programmed your bots, join in on the manual labor fun! Unlike most automation and programming games, you have to work in sync with your bots from time to time. It’s a team effort here at the Star Stuff factory in order to get those stars made. If at first you don’t succeed, brush off that stardust and try, try again.

The star factory is extremely forgiving and you won’t even get fired. You can always reset, undo, and try puzzles over and over again. You can take breaks in this whimsical atmosphere with a stellar soundtrack. And remember, it’s only been 32,767 rotations since the last major incident. You can help maintain that record!
Exercise your brain. Automating bots is tricky, despite their whimsical appearances. Every problem is a chance to learn something new.
Over 150 celestial levels to tease your brain with even when you’re on your mandated lunch break.
You are part of the puzzles! Your bots can’t do this on their own - you have to pitch in sometimes to help the machines solve the obstacles they face in the star-making process.
Simple but deep mechanics make this title accessible and family-friendly. Try playing along with a friend or family member nearby!
Unleash your creativity as you delve into coding logic to craft your own bot programs. And don’t worry! Programming is just puzzle solving at the end of the day.
There’s a whole cosmic universe out there waiting to be built if you’re up for the challenge. Shine on!

An awesome family friendly puzzle game! I really enjoyed this game. Played on the TV with a controller, and it felt like that is the way to go. Played with my partner, passing the controller back and forth, and we had a great time with it! I could also see this working well as an intro to programming for kids. The difficulty is moderate, so I don't think you need to be a puzzle sicko to enjoy it.
The best programming-like I've played, and the soundtrack is top-notch!
Fun lite programming game
Cute, and not too hard for an old man with an ossifying brain (I did use the hint mode a fair bit, though).
Jeu simple et intuitif, seul point faible: il est court. Il y aurait la possibilité d'avoir un peu plus de niveaux si il y aurait des niveaux avec des mix de plusieurs éléments existant au jeu.
Star Stuff is a cute puzzle/programming game that adds a unique twist on the genre by mixing in the real-time movement of your character with the automation you are programming. For a lot of the games in this genre you write the code, click "Start", and then just watch things happen; in this game, you have a more active role where you have to get stuff done while the code is running. This aspect also made me think out solutions a little differently than usual - trying to figure out how to weave in my own actions (like triggering certain 'if' statements) and interacting with the robots and their limited movesets adds an additional dimension that kept things engaging. The difficulty level felt about just right, and the game does a good job of slowly introducing new mechanics and code statements. There were only a handful of real head-scratchers I encountered, but luckily you only have to complete a subset of the levels in each area to progress, so it's easy to skip levels and come back to them later without your overall progress being completely hindered. The hint system is neat as well; it basically gives you a skeleton of the solution code to fill in yourself. Delightful game, really enjoyed my time with it, would recommend.
Fun puzzles! Could have had a bit more difficult challenge puzzles though.
