Great game consisting of a large space map where every planet itself is a separate small map. For every space turn you take, 5 (or more depending on settings) ground turns take place. Great (though out of place) Bladerunner-like soundtrack too!

great game, some of the mechanics don't age well like plant combat taking too long and not being skippable. but i love the races

Its a fairly simple game to play, but the strategy is very involving especially when choosing factions. The two layers of battle (space and plantary) add more complications. I think it is a great strategy game, especially when playing a total space war against all other factions for domination. Upgrade your Battleships, you're going to need them!
