Really nice game! I played the demo a lot an then decided to buy! Its cool! This is an excelent mix, a little of the dopaminergy of balatro, a little of the relaxing vibes for tetris. Cool!
I just want to get this out there since I've seen a few negative reviews trashing this game for its design not rewarding skilled Tetris players. You can be a pro at regular Tetris gameplay and still lose regularly, because the game itself is designed around your builds and not your actual Tetris skills. The blocks you purchase after every round are themed, and each type of block compliments other blocks from its respective theme, and each theme is based around different play styles. Some are based on stacking, some are based on fast placement, and some are based on clearing single rows at a time. Depending on what your approach is depends on which theme you pick, or how you mix it with other themes. You're not going to have a good time if you approach this game as a Tetris game and not as a roguelike deckbuilder. You need to see this as another Balatro or Slay the Spire but with Tetris gameplay. I'm an avid Tetris player and I've been having a blast with this game, because it tries something new with the Tetris formula and requires the player to think outside of the box. I'm sure that the scoring system and a few mechanics need to be tweaked, but that's the norm with games like this. I hope the dev listens to the feedback and keeps this game updated in the future, because this game has a lot of potential.

If I could I would currently maybe give this game something in the middle of a yes and a no. I do really like tetris games and a roguelike tetris style game sounds like a cool idea. Sadly, currently I feel like this game is lacking a lot from both a pure game perspective and from a visual flair perspective. On the game side, roguelike + “insert game” type games can a lot of the time be very very fun games. And how these two things complement each other play a big role in how fun that game ends up being. In this game's case, my biggest gripe is that I do feel like I’m missing the fun of regular tetris. And I think I’ve read some reviews of people saying something similar. It feels kinda strange to not be encouraged to play tetris like you normally do with using the hold and stuff. And more about thinking of what piece you place. Maybe it can be fun if you fully rewire your brain to forget normal tetris. That aside, if we just talk about the added blocks with different effects. It did not really feel like I could have too much of a plan, and the best action was usually just to buy new blocks no matter what to just have more blocks to play. It’s missing something that games like (sorry to mention it) Balatro has, or Raccoin, or Dice with Death. I do believe this can be a fun cool game, but for me it kinda needs to head back to the drawing board a bit and rethink the core. Now on the visual flair angle… I hate to sound so harsh but… grey on grey on grey? Boxes with dropshadow? Like… cmon? A little more than that would be nice. Like on the visual front this looks very much like a bare bones prototype of a game to test a game idea. It’s lacking a lot of an identity and feeling. Like for example, Tetris: Effect Connected is a tetris game not maybe everyone likes, but it does feel really nice to play, and just playing tetris in a cool music visualizer in a sense just feels cool with the game reflecting what you do etc. I’m not saying you need to go that crazy with this game, but just give me some cool feedback when I clear rows that makes me wanna clear more. And something nice to look at. I don’t know how many you are working on this, or if it’s just a solo thing. So I hope I don’t sound like I’m asking for too much. Now lastly real quick, the music and sound just don’t feel like it’s made for the game. I do believe if you remake the look of the game first you can get some music that fits the visuals in mood. So, I hope this game changes over time. Currently it did not make me wanna play much more than an hour. But I do find potential in the idea and I really hope it changes to something fun. At its current state, the price is way too high for what it is. But if you read this a couple of months from now and you see big changes to the game, hay, for sure it can be worth it if not even more, who knows. But as it is it feels like a 2,5€ game.
Somehow got a score of 20 billion just by spamming fire mages.
i was a bit hesitant afer the demo to buy full version, but now am totally impressed. love the game modes and the additional blocks
best tetris game oat
i love this game but rn it need major ui fixs and also enter wont work. meaning you haave to move your hnd from thekeyboard to the mouse (ik it sound like nitpicking but for a game that should be running without a mouse i think it it should be looked at and get fixed asap). other then those two i really like the gane and recomend it
Been playing Tetris for years and need to make it feel like something completely new? This game does that in a very creative and entertaining way where there is still a trend of rougelikes and lites still being made. I would call this a Balatro-like :P Anywho, the blocks and categories the blocks can fall under are interesting and it makes a level of strategy and game play that really encourages exploration of the mechanics. I am still learning new ways on how I went wrong about a run (i.e. hold feature costs and increases with use)! My biggest gripe are the bosses are both randomized and their difficulties don't exactly scale, per se. It's more like "I got lucky on this run that this boss happened first because if I got it later after getting certain perks THEN it becomes challenging." I get it, RNG, but in comparison to it's inspiration, those bosses were designed in a way that by the time you get to them in any order, you would have had the right tools and it simply becomes a skill issue or mistake. My second biggest gripe is the depth of the game itself. It is very easy to have used all of the different blocks at least once and unlock the other 2 grids. It would be nice in the future to get more grids, mores blocks, and perhaps some zanier modes like different mino bag randomizers or auto drop mode with of course some incentivizing trade offs to encourage people to play then add a challenge mode after! Overall, this is a buy and recommendation. Even at this base level, I am shocked that The Tetris Company had not thought of this first!
Bom demais! Tetris brasileiro com ótimo preço. Recomendo!!!
