SRX: The Game

Great game, lots of fun, got it for cheap in steam sale. Forget about playing multiplayer online, it's dead. Most probably why it's selling for cheap. Good for 305 Sprints and Stadium Trucks. Other classes seem really difficult to control but could just be me. Think I will eventually upgrade to 'World of Outlaws: Dirt Racing 24 Gold Edition' and/or 'iRacing' in the future but a lot more expensive to go that route. SRX is a good option for trying this type of game out, if your on a budget and just want to see if it's something you want to get into. Not worth full price, make sure you buy it on sale.

SRX: The Game, es prácticamente un clón de World Of Outlaws Dirt Racing, son idénticos en físicas, mecánicas del modo carrera, desgaste y upgrade de piezas, menús, botones y mecánicas del juego en general, la única diferencia que he encontrado es que SRX tiene Óvalos en asfalto, y se me hace muy curioso porque son un copy & paste. Pero bueno tiene un muy buen nivel de sensaciones de velocidad, el ir desarrollando tu carrera al principio es pesado y poco a poco va agarrando ritmo y forma. La AI a veces es muy infame porque te rebazan como si tu fueras en un carrito de super mercado y no importa que tan bien agarres las curvas, son super saiyajins, pero eso va cambiando conforme se vaya mejorando el coche con piezas de mejor rendimiento.

It’s a decent game at a decent price. I don’t know of any others games that (aside maybe iRacing might) have the SRX Car. The super late-model stocks are the best part of the game imo. The trophy trucks are really difficult to control, might take a bit of practice to stop spinning out. The game is clunky, but made by such a small team I can’t blame them. If they ever do anything with it (unlikely a new game since SRX is in limbo) I hope they add larger oval tracks and additional road courses.

A nice game. Easy enough for inexperienced drives. A nice variety of racing types.

Das Spiel steuert sich mit Lenkrad extrem gut, das Driften ist auf jeder Strecke leicht anders, die Fahrzeuge unterscheiden sich deutlich (vor allem die Trucks haben es mir angetan). Schwierigkeiten sind fein justierbar, ebenfalls Streckenbedingungen (Flaggen, Länge). Auf jeden Fall viele Stunden Spaß. Grafisch nichts störend, aber auch kein Wow-Effect. Lediglich, dass die Strecken durch das Fahren nicht verändert werden und dass optisch feucht/nass und trocken jedenfalls bei mittlerer Schwierigkeit keinen Unterschied macht, hat mich etwas gestört (Wenn man die genialen Streckenveränderungen in manchen MXGP-Spielen kennt) Offenbar verschwinden noch dieses Jahr etliche Nascar-Spiele von Steam. Ich weiß nicht, ob dieses mit betroffen sein könnte, da eine Absplitterung, aber ggf. solte man es sich rechtzeitig besorgen. Ich habe es 60% reduziert erhalten, das wird dieses Jahr kaum nochmal vorkommen.
