About
You can climb trees and glide from branch to branch. Being in the skin of a clever rodent, you will have to get through many exciting adventures filled with dangers, secrets, and heroic challenges.
BIG FAMILY. At level 10, you can find a soul mate and get married. Take care of your partner, feed him, and he will help in the fight against enemies. At level 20, you can have your first baby. And when the baby grows up, you can have another one. Even a wolf will tremble at the army of squirrels!
HOLLOW. You will be able to collect acorns, mushrooms, and berries, which can then be used to strengthen your family, improve your character, or buy a new hollow. In the hollow, you can build a nest of branches and sleep sweetly in it.
CHARACTERS. An Astronaut who jumps above the trees. A Knight who fights without fear. Lightning that runs the fastest. A Pilot, a Bounty Hunter, a Cyborg, a Shaman, a Squirmariner, a Soldier, the strongest Squirpire, and a great King who defeats enemies with a single blow are waiting for you.
TROPHIES. In each new hollow there will be a trophy that you need to earn by passing an interesting test. “Treasure Chest” will make characters cheaper, “Heart of Immortality” will make your family very resilient, “Sandals of Speed” will give you incredible speed, and “Crown of Excellence” will open access to a super character.
WEALTH, KINGDOMS, ADVENTURES. The forest is ruled by various animal kingdoms. Eliminate enemy leaders to get a lot of coins and make your kingdom the strongest. The king of mice is the easiest to defeat, but after him will come a hare and a raccoon. The snake and badger will be dangerous. And only real knights will have a chance to fight the wolf king!
Have a nice game. Sincerely, Avelog.

A game that teaches you to NEVER underestimate squirrels. Fun fact: as long as there's a pile of coins involved, a squirrel could easily take down a wolf. 10/10 nuts P.S.: Avelog Games, does jumping actually work as dodging here? Haven't noticed any difference from just sponging damage and spamming attack. I request dodge! And bears. I want to solo a bear.
tl;dr: Buy if you like to be a squirrel for a few hours and are not expecting too much story and content for the very low price. Long version: I like the game. Playing as a squirrel makes me happy. You do squirrel things, like gather and eat berries. You also fight other animals like wolves, as squirrels do. You take them down with your whole family of up to five squirrels. Jokes aside: Pro: Kept me entertained for a few hours and for its price I would recommend it, if you are into squirrels. The family mechanic is just adorable, roaming the small map with your squirrel gang and beat up badgers and stuff. Graphics are okay, nothing special - you get what you see in the preview pictures. I have also encountered zero bugs, which I find very mentionable these days. Neutral: The gameplay loop consists of reapeating quests that you can do or not do, they involve fighting, gathering and basic stuff like drinking and sleeping. Doing the quests gives you simply more XP to level up. Leveling up is required to a certain point to unlock your family. More leveling up gives more attack power and health, but the enemies scale with you, so I actually never had the feeling to be stronger, that came only when I brought the extra squirrels in. Animations are basic but I have seen worse. Again, consider the price. Combat is also more on the basic side, attack, jump, run away. Your family auto attacks, the game does a good job on that and their path finding. You can also buy skins for your squirrels which give certain perks and look silly - as I like the natural squirrel look this one is neutral for me, others might like them and also the collecting aspect. Contra: No key rebindings, you need to get along with the defaults. I had no problems with them, but that is something to keep in mind. Not many settings either, asides volume there is an antialiasing option and the language selection. German translation is kinda funny, as everything is labelled with its article, so like "the berry", "the acorn", "the wolf" etc. Not really bad, but irritating. English labels are okay, so I played in English.

A Most Distinguished Chronicle of Squirrel Simulator. I am graciously pleased to offer my imperial assessment of this digital pastime. It is a surprisingly magnificent triumph. Grandeur in the Canopy. The developers have crafted a sovereign kingdom within the ancient oaks. Every leaf glistens with majestic clarity. Visuals: A breathtaking tapestry of sun-dappled forests. Movement: Royal acrobatics that defy gravity itself. Audio: Symphonic woodland melodies fit for a king. Sovereign Mechanics: One does not merely play; one rules the forest floor. The quest for sustenance is elevated to high diplomacy. The Harvest: Gathering acorns feels like securing crown jewels. Territory: Defending the nest mimics grand siege warfare. Combat: Claw-swiping rival rodents carries immense noble weight. My Final Decree: This interactive journey is an absolute jewel in the crown of modern simulations. I command all citizens to partake in its majesty. My Royal Verdict: 10 out of 10 Golden Acorns. Your Majesty, King Squirrel
