Interesting mechanics and different in complexity levels - good potential!
if you like games that leave you to explore and learn by yourself with no explanation then this game is for you. it does not give you any kind of tutorials or hints, you will be like Carl Sagan, solving puzzles without knowing how did you solve it or why stuff happens the way they happen. if you are depressed and want something to do while thinking on ways on how to end it , try this game. 3.5 out of 5

TL;DR Can you figure out the rules?
Simple puzzle game where you have to figure out the rules of movement through exploration. You are a point charge moving along a series of electrical connections. Very little explanation is given, you have to figure out the rules of the game-world my moving and interacting. You charge up at each level with a limited amount of power. Spend it on the right things in the right order and you can clear a level. Gradually you learn about the nodes around you and acquire modules that let you do different things (each spending a certain amount of power). In a few places you need some coordination to time a movement, and there's a repeating mini-game that you periodically need to solve (again, no rules are given -- you have to try the controls and figure it out). The graphics are nicely done, sort of like the Portal world. As far as I can tell (a few hours in) there's no dialog. There's also a level editor which I haven't tried.
Perfect game !!
It's not a good sign that, the more I played Spreadstorm, the less I liked it. At first, I was enjoying myself solving the problems. I was all set to comment that the weaknesses were really only a matter of presentation; no music, and a dark art style that isn't exactly pleasant on the eyes. But the game design in those early levels is completely solid. The description makes a big deal out of how the rules aren't explained; which seems odd to me. Sure, there might not be any text to explain things, but the game does an excellent job of introducing mechanics in ways that teach through gameplay. The mechanics are not like anything I've seen before, and the difficulty level was ideal: challenging, but I never felt it was impossible. In all, I was thinking this was a solid little puzzle game cruelly overlooked in the sea of Steam. Sadly, as the game approached its end, my opinion soured somewhat. While all the early puzzles can be solved as fast or slow as you choose, eventually mechanics are introduced that require careful timing and precise movement through the networks. This revealed that the controls are stiff and not really satisfying. Simple things like moving one space along the network, or moving in one direction then taking a junction left or right, proved surprisingly frustrating. I also ran into performance issues; granted, I wasn't playing on a top-of-the-line machine, but I wouldn't exactly expect to. Finally, there were a few outright bad design decisions, such as puzzles where unnecessary foreground elements obscure your vision. All these things left me disappointed after the early promise. Still, this wasn't enough for me to go to a negative review. I haven't encountered puzzle mechanics quite like this anywhere else, and so do recommend it overall.
