It plays like it is a Goat Simulator clone but its fun because of that and by being set in Bikini Bottom.
Alright so honestly this game is not worth 40 bucks that seems a bit too much for it, but 20 bucks is 100% worth it, I recently saw videos of it that made it seem so fun but the price was what really drove me away from it but at half price it is honestly one of my favorite games I own now and seems so fun to complete if you see this game at half off or on sale and like a sandbox open world gta like game with Patrick go for it 10/10

i played this game for 6 hours straight, and its so addicting and fun. I love Spongebob!

It was fun, gave me about 10 hours of play time and I finished the game. It's basically just a big sandbox game where you go around the map doing random quests. There's no real replayability in this game so I probably wont be playing it anymore unless theres like a major update or DLC.
It's goofy, I like it don't get me wrong. But it does NOT deserve the 40 dollar price tag. Your getting a game that you will easily finish in like around 8 hours... I'mma be honest I feel like the actual ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Goat Simulator games where this game is based off of have more content and IS LOWER IN COST then this. Your literally just paying more for a rebranded Goat Simulator with an IP slapped on too it... ugh.

This game is barely a recommend purely based on the price and length. I beat the game and got 88% of the achievements in less than 5 hours of gameplay, and the gameplay itself is fairly bland (even for a kids game). It is cool to be able to free-roam Bikini Bottom though, and it is pleasantly surprising to see the full cast voiced by their respective VAs. This is really only a recommend on a very deep sale (much more than Steam has had it to date) and for fans of the series.
