Spiritstead is super cozy and engaging! I love building up the village and hidden spirits are a nice touch to make it special. Such a relaxing vibe and lovely visuals, definitely a great game for anyone looking to unwind or just love peaceful games!
I wish I could leave a 50/50 sort of review. The game is really cute and I'd love to keep playing, but the UI / text is too small. I hope they'll be able to update UI scaling or text size in the future. On a sidenote, the Disable Bloom toggle doesn't actually seem to work right now, I'm unable to disable the bloom. If font size isn't an issue for you, then this game is really gorgeous and worth a calm sit and play.

Finished it within 3 hrs. Good game but not for its base price. Maybe buy it on sale.
The game is fine overall (especially if you like casual -games/colony sims). For the amount you're paying contra what you're getting playtime wise its not really worth it in my opinion. I played through the game in one sitting ca 3 hours and theres just no real re-playability value. Sure, if you just adore building little cute towns (with somewhat clunky tools) just for the fun of it.. go ahead! There's an atempt at challenges but then again this is supposed to be a casual experience first-and-formost and as a result there isnt really anything stopping you from just blasting through everything. Hopefully there'll be an update adding more zones or just different spawns or something. As it stand now the pricetag ought to have been halved realistically and I recommend you getting it on an off-sale.
Adventure mode is really short (about 4 hours). I think there is some re-playability here, but not a lot. It's a short game that is worth the price. Some complain about micromanaging, you get plenty of spirits and perks quick enough to automate most things. Overall a nice cute game to play on a quiet Sunday.
除了画风一无是处的游戏
Cute, charming, but a little overwhelming
I picked this up largely because the art immediately reminded me of the old Asterix & Obelix books. It has that lovely, colourful, hand-drawn charm that brought back some very fond memories. The game itself has nothing to do with Asterix, of course, but that visual style was enough to pull me in. And there is a lot to like here. Discovering spirits, exploring new areas, unlocking tower bonuses and gradually watching the village grow are all genuinely satisfying. There’s something very nice about seeing everything slowly come together. However, I have to admit that the game has also frustrated me quite a bit. Early on, there is a lot of gathering and micromanagement. Getting your villagers to do the things they need to do can feel more like managing chores than building a magical little village. At one point, having to manually drag villagers to the outhouse nearly made me ask for a refund! Things do improve as you unlock more options and gathering resources like eggs, wool and... well... poop becomes easier. However, I often found myself wishing this was a little more of an idle/management game where I could make the important decisions and then mostly watch my village get on with things. I've also found some of the systems surprisingly difficult to understand. The pet/spirit system in particular left me scratching my head and I've spent coins trying to figure out things that I felt the game could have explained more clearly. So, despite all that, I'm still playing. There's something charming underneath the frustration and I want to see where the village, spirits and exploration eventually lead. I'm not very far into the game yet, so perhaps some of my confusion will disappear as I unlock more. Cute, charming and full of potential, but be prepared for a fair bit of micromanagement and some head-scratching along the way.
I wish Steam had an option to leave a "neutral" review instead of just positive/negative. Is it cute/cozy? Yes. But it's also very shallow on content. I beat Adventure Mode in about 3 hours, and I could 100% all achievements and spirit/item unlocks in 5 - 6 hours. If you see yourself playing in Creative mode just to build cozy aesthetic towns for 10+ hours, then maybe it's worth it for you. I'm only leaving a positive review instead of a negative one because I don't want to hurt a small developer... but I think there are several other indie-made city builders like Go-Go Town or Outlanders that provide a lot better value and replayability that I'd recommend before this. It's all flash and not a lot of substance. It feels like an Early Access title more than a full release.
