Spirits Chronicles: Flower Of Hope Collector's Edition

This is the second one of the Spirits chronicles series. A beautiful game for the casual player. An very easy adventure game with all kind of different hidden object puzzles . And some of them are interactive. I really enjoyed the many mini- puzzles, varied in type and in range of difficulty from easy to moderate (I choose the hard modus for puzzles) . And there are collectables in every scene. My favourites are the morphing kind. This game has achievements but unfortunately they are not recognized by steam. Although the storyline is very predictable, (nowadays common for these kind of games: save and rescue the characters themes), it has has an unique new feature! You can make choices, that influence the game. Depending on your choice it gives you extra information of the storyline! Now I did noticed, that I could progress the game, even though I was not able to find all the items needed to activate all the puzzles. And therefore I was not able finish every puzzles in some of the scenes. Are those items really missing (a bug???) or did I overlooked them??? I do not know. But after ending the main game, it told me I finished only 70% of the game! I only could replay the whole main game from the start. Instead of just go back into the game to look for only the missing 30% of the game. This game, has an in-game-strategy guide, but that is not very accurate. If you follow the guide, you will get stuck as it does not always gives you the correct solution to the puzzles. (the guide says use wire-saw in the broken chair puzzle to get a stick, instead of use the axe (that has to be assembled first). And then some game scenes + puzzles are not included in de guide.

Every single game I got during the sale of this developer has some sort of problem like not being able to get a hidden coin or the mechanics of a game are so bad you have to finish it by skipping or one game the bonus chapter at the very end, the last thing to do was like done for you even though the item you need is still in your inventory so you can't finish the BC at all...no wonder these were on sale ...but really if I could get my money back for all of them I would. I could get game play out of it but too many issues in each one to play again. I have played these types of games for years, going back to the big fish days and these have to be the worst because as far as I am concerned this developer didn't care about if their game worked or not. I saw other issues as well like the instructions to the puzzle games were just awful and I played all of these on easy mode but because they were just so poorly devised some you just had to skip. nope, this is one developer I can't recommend any of their games ..too many had problems in them.

This has a major bug. the game stalls at the lake scene and there's no way to get around it. The first complaint was in January and it's now October with no fix. Domini Games seems to have a trend with this. the other games of theirs have the same problem. I think I will not be buying these ones any more. Waste of my time and money. Unfortunate..

Cool game. Nice graphics and story.

This game isn't terrible, but it isn't really the greatest either. The graphics are excellent, the puzzles aren't too hard. But maybe it was just me, but I didn't find it very intuitive. You are constantly getting items you don't need, and some things don't really make sense. That giant paper-cutter thing - you use it to slice open a leather pouch, never mind that it has a drawstring... Also I got an achievement for doing 4 minigames without looking at the instructions - still not sure where to find those lol. Additionally, you will sometimes get options to unlock an extra area with a bunch more puzzles. But it doesn't have any real bearing on the plot. That means you can actually progress without doing them all, which is a good thing because many of them were rather buggy. So unless you're a completionist, I would suggest skipping them. ^-^

A decent game. Fun and not overly challenging, but still a lot of bugs that cause you to bypass entire puzzles. I never finished in the gryphon's barn, but still flew on to the next area. I didn't solve everything in the villain's lair, either. Didn't get the bottle from the window and didn't find out what to do with the leather, just for starters. There's also a glitch where if you choose to go up to the lab but then go to the dungeon instead you get the final cutscene. Thankfully it doesn't end the game, but it's confusing. It's still fun, but needs some tweaking so I can feel like I actually completed the whole game.

un trés beau jeu et super bien fait!

Nudna do bólu, fabuła nieciekawa jak to tylko możliwe, a zagadki/łamigłówki proste że trzeba być po trepanacji czaszki żeby sobie z nimi nie poradzić. W dodatku u mnie się zbugowała. Nie polecam nawet jakby dali za darmo, zwyczajnie szkoda czasu.

Dieses ist kein Spiel, das ich ein zweites Mal spielen würde. Zu wenig Logik enthalten. Auch die Geschichte, Charaktere und Dialoge gefallen mir nicht. Dies ist aber mein persönlicher Geschmack. Grafik, Farben und Bilder sind sehr schön. Minispiele sehr vielfältig, eigentlich alle geläufigen Sachen dabei. Also, wem Flowerpower gefällt, der kann es durchaus ausprobieren. In mir hat dieses Spiel nur Frust erzeugt.
