Ill say im glad its free. It seems like a really fun game but it is currently unplayable. Terrible rubber banding, constantly being kicked from the game into the logon screen and controls are severely leggy and sometimes unresponsive. I have no nostalgia but heard from my friends that this was their favorite MMO. I really wanted to enjoy this. Hopefully more updates will come so I can try it again.
Feels like testifying against a childhood friend in court to leave a negative review, but if I ask myself if I'd recommend this game to anyone these days, it's a pretty firm no. The recent debacle with the forge changes has once again shown that the company now in charge does not care about the state of the game or the community. After over a decade of there being exactly one mission worth farming for any meaningful income, we get a forge update and with it and, in hindsight apparently accidental, level-agnostic way of earning money via forge prizeboxes. Through that system you could play pretty much any content in the game and earn a decent income while doing it. Variety was essentially restorted. Two months later trading for the valuable forge boxes gets patched out for an exploit that would have been so laughably easy to fix in any other way that it had to be satire (Just put a lock on how many characters you can create or make the starting gear start at heat 10, seriously). With refusal to make even the tiniest effort tweaks to render other content more viable, I can only assume that the endgame just really wants you to run Firestorm Citadel 24/7 for reasons that are beyond me. And that's not really a game worth playing.

Cute little dungeon raid MMO about robot knights with guns, also with a TF2 hat reward!
The game mechanics feel really basic, though I haven't gotten very far into it. I decided to stop playing because once I got to the main city, it prompted me about buying real life currency to get better gear and I don't mess around with pay-to-win games.
This review is going to be awkwardly much shorter than my review for Operation Crimson Hammer. Most people have already reviewed this game to death and told you all about it. All I'm going to say is that this is effectively a better version and concept of The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords. This isn't, "we have four swords at home...." this is a massive evolution of that concept and honestly a much better one. This game, in its current state from when it was new, is very good. With the grind reduced and many of the worst pay-walled features completely removed or reduced to the point where they are not an issue, this game in 2026, the time I'm writing this review, actually quite good. This game has a ton of different weapons in it, many of which are kind of bad to use, but if you want to save grind and time, most of the users in this game can direct you towards the meta-picks if you want to be like that. That being said, everything is at least usable and the real difference between metagear and off meta is skill requirement to use. It all boils down to how brain dead do you want it, but at the highest difficulties, even with the best most meta gear in the game, this is not a cakewalk, not even a little bit. It also has a really fun Bomberman clone PvP game that is very hard to get a queue for unless you have enough people in your guild to just do it... But it is a ton of fun if you can get it going. If you want a randomized action dungeon crawler with puzzles and a story you can't go wrong. If you liked Four Swords, please just play this. As a side note, this game is supported by Gamble boxes, also known as loot crates. It really sucks that this exists and normally I would automatically give a thumbs down for games that do this... But it is very possible to enjoy this game without anything from those boxes as they are either cosmetics or gimmick weapons, mostly reskins aka cosmetics. If you have a weakness for looking particular in video games and using cosmetics, you might want to stick clear of this one.
Great game. A classic now all these years later. I hope they continue to add content and keep the game alive.
Janky piece of trash constant rubberbanding. Played one game was OK and came back to it a few weeks later now it constantly glitches and is unplayable. We are both on high end pcs and running plenty of other games no issues. Clearly the game needs sorting out as is a mess! Dont waste your time!
other than a amazing tf2 cozmetic ;D the game is genuienly very fun, it has good ui its not really that repetitive, and its online so i recomend it scince its frre after all.
