Hey! My name is Lente. I started working on Spilled! At the end of 2022. It is my first commercial release.
I paused school and bought my own small boat to live on. Which lowered my cost of living and allowed me to fully focus on Spilled! for a while.
Once my savings ran out, I ran a succesful Kickstarter which has kept me afloat all the way up until release! I am so happy I have been able to follow my dreams. I hope you like Spilled!

Ну я знала, что она короткая, но не на час времени же....
I was super annoyed, when the game ended after less than an hour of playing, mainly because that hour wasn't too great. Cleaning the patches of black goo was fine, the secondary tools for cleaning were fine, but the pushing tiny bottles with imprecise tank controls and no real control over what spills from the boats frontal claw was really bad, especially since the bottles were getting more and more annoying with each level. This issue wouldn't be fixed if the game was longer, but since the game has not much else to offer it just immediately makes it pretty bad.

This game was not what I was expected, I was expecting something more akin to Terra Nil, and bringing the animals back as advertised turned out to be collecting stranded animals for an achievement. The artstyle is nice, but that's probably the only saving grace of this game. The playtime of this game is extremely short, I 100% the game in 87 minutes. I believe other reviews also mention this. For the price of this game, I would definitely wait for it to go on sale, because any serious conpletionist player would be able to complete this game under two hours, whereas casual players may put it down after under an hour. The controls are incredibly frustrating, as are the ugrade mechanics of the game. The movement is very wonky, and at times for whatever reason your boat will randomly slow to a stop and take about 3-5 seconds to start up again. The upgrade mechanics are necessary for "gameplay" purposes, but the design of the mechanics could be better. For example, the "scoop" upgrade only ever makes it wider, but not deeper so it's easier to scoop up trash, which actually decentivized me to put my resources into upgrading that mechanism, because it made no sense and was not worth it. All in all, I would only play this game if you have the patience of a saint and don't care too much about the overall "gameplay design" aspects of this game. However, this does mean that I do not recommend it.
Cute graphics, with a great theme. Short game but its nice.
a cozy game to get lost in for a few hours.
A cute little game. Tad pricey for 1h of gameplay, so grab it from a sale for a relaxed time waste.
Too expensive for 1 hr of gameplay. If you're a completionist, this can all be 100%ed in 1 hr
Short but entretaining
