Hey! My name is Lente. I started working on Spilled! At the end of 2022. It is my first commercial release.
I paused school and bought my own small boat to live on. Which lowered my cost of living and allowed me to fully focus on Spilled! for a while.
Once my savings ran out, I ran a succesful Kickstarter which has kept me afloat all the way up until release! I am so happy I have been able to follow my dreams. I hope you like Spilled!

Right, so. I was fuming. Absolutely fuming. And not at the game, mind you. I'll spare you the details because frankly you didn't come here for that, and neither did I. But then I remembered I owned Spilled!, which I'd bought partly for the adorable pixel graphics and partly because some bloke on the internet swore it calmed him down. And do you know what? It bloody did. Money back, instantly, emotionally. Best therapy €3 ever bought. So here's the pitch, and stay with me because it's gorgeous in its simplicity. Spilled! is a tiny game made by one lad who, and I'm not making this up, l ives on a boat. Of course he does. What else is he going to make a game about, tax law? You pilot your own little boat around, hoovering up spilled oil and bits of rubbish floating in the water. Fill up to capacity, chug over to the recycling plant, cash it in. Then you spend that money on upgrades: a wider scoop, a bit more speed, more storage. That's it. That's the loop. And it is deeply satisfying, in the way that popping bubble wrap is satisfying, except you're also apparently saving the ocean, so you get to feel smug about it too. Because who, genuinely, doesn't enjoy making the water cleaner for the little fish? You'd have to be some sort of monster. Along the way you rescue 16 animals, and there's even a proper "boss" to beat at the end, which is a lovely bit of ambition for a game this cuddly. The graphics are basic but cute and colourful - I got a bit giddy watching the water change colour and the marine life pop back in as you clean up. It's the little dopamine hit of a job well done. The music's jaunty without being one of those soundtracks that makes you want to throw the laptop in the actual sea. Controls are WASD, no time trials, no reflex tests, nobody screaming at you. It's designed to be relaxing and undemanding, and it commits to that completely. Oh, and the money goes to Whale and Dolphin Conservation, so you can do your bit for the planet without leaving the sofa, which is my favourite kind of activism. Only real complaint? It's too short. One hour and it was over, and it didn't so much whet my appetite as gently wave it about and then leave. I'm quietly hoping the dev funnels the proceeds into more levels, because I'd happily live in this thing. I also wouldn't be even slightly surprised if some enormous studio nicks the concept wholesale, because it's exactly the sort of thing that gets "reimagined" with a battle pass. Great effort for a new developer, though. Genuinely. It's made me want to run out, buy an actual boat, and go clean up a real harbour - which tells you everything. I came in ready to throttle someone and left wanting to save dolphins. Buy the game. Cheaper than therapy, and the whales come out ahead too.
Spilled (tłum. "Rozlany")

Wprowadzenie
Ostateczne wnioski:
* Plusy:

Niezwykle przyjemna dla oczu oprawa graficzna oparta na pastelowych barwach, połączona z konstrukcją świata przedstawionego na podobieństwo wielkiej, animowanej malarskiej dioramy co sprawia, że w trakcie rozgrywki ma się wrażenie bycia niczym pędzel, który czyszcząc rozjaśnia;
Spokojna i odprężająca muzyka a także reszta dźwięków w grze dostrojona pod budowanie relaksującej atmosfery;
Dość przyjemne czyszczenie wodnych zbiorników poszczególnych poziomów;
Różne rodzaje zanieczyszczeń, które trzeba usunąć z wody lub granic lokacji wymagających konkretnego korzystania z dostępnych umiejętności;
Pełna swoboda w wyborze ulepszeń pozwalająca zbudować własny build w oparciu o te elementy statku, które wydają się każdemu graczowi bardziej kluczowe do usprawnienia pod szybsze czyszczenie poszczególnych aren czy walkę z bossem;
* Minusy:

A cute, wholesome little game about cleaning up ocean waste with a wee tugboat. Play as a wee little pixel tugboat, puttering across the waters with your water cannon, oil storage, magnetic crane, and arm bar to clean up the polluted waters, restoring them to a pristine clear blue, full of life. Gameplay is quite simple, scooting your boat around a small body of water to collect oil, bottles, sunken barrels, putting out fires, spraying oil off of cliffsides, and returning treasure objects for coin. Pollutants can be returned to the nearby recycling centre, nabbing you some coin to upgrade your oil storage, arm bar size, and the speed of your boat's motor. A variety of critters can be found and collected too, just for the sake of having them to collect. Much of the charm of Spilled! comes from its pixel art and cozy atmosphere / vibe. It is a delight just sitting back and clearing away the pollutants to see the waters spring back to life. Spilled! Isn't a long game by any means, only being eight levels, so you can bang this one out in about an hour. As a special note, ten cents from every sale of Spilled! goes to the Whale and Dolphin Conservation charity. как я понял в конце происходит массовое убийство работяг) это не игра, эт скам
Cute game, wish it was longer, and maybe wish that the "death" of the final boss didn't backtrack on the message of the game a little. Overall super adorable and fun game, but not particularly re-playable in my opinion
It was a fun little relaxing experience that can be completed in about an hour. Perfect for the Steam Deck, would have liked a bit more to it.
A cute pixel graphic oceanic clean-up game. Only takes 1-2 hours to fully complete the game and the developer donates $0.10 per sale on Steam to Whale and Dolphin Conservation. It's a beautiful testament to dedication and hard work put in by a single-person development team.
Só um defeito... É curto... o resto é DEMAIS.
I love how simple this game is. But it was very short tho
Харесва ми. Единственият й минус е, че се минава за половин час.
