It's just a bare-bones character creator with a decent amount of things to change, but is not keeping me interested to make a good looking character like other have. This can be better with 100's of different items were to be added over time, sliders, and jiggly physics.
Very little customization options, no hats, no hijabs, no scarves, one necklace, very few body types, few clothes.

you cant change the color of ANY of your outfit items and some of them dont look very good together. you can get a pretty decent looking character but dont expect too much from this. if you are just looking to make yourself or a character for fun, you might like this. but for those who want in depth creation, look elsewhere here is the number of options 20 face archetypes 12 eyebrows 10 face details (i count the toggleable ones) 12 resting faces eye color slider masculine and feminine bodytype headshape slider body shape slider (taller or wider, does not change the actual body :|) skin color slider idle pose 24 hairstyles (can do two colors) hair color slider 6 makeup looks 6 earring options (left lobe, right lobe or both) 2 glasses options 1 necklace option 23 torso options 2 wrist accessories 22 pants options 11 shoes
The character creator has many amazing ways to edit your character but needs some more clothing options
Spells & Secrets - Character Creator is not a game. Games contain meaningful gamelike interaction and game loops, which are absent in this software. Instead of being a game, Spells & Secrets - Character Creator is a software application that allows you to create a character for Spells & Secrets, which costs $25 USD and was a complete disaster of a game that objectively failed. So what was the point in releasing this non-game on Steam, when the game itself already has the character creator? Advertising. Yep, the developer figured $100 USD through Steam Direct would be cheaper than marketing their crapheap of a game properly, without considering how harmful it is to spam the Steam store with non-game garbage like this. But these guys don't care about other developers. Or gamers. They just want their $25. For those unfamiliar with what actually makes something a game, a "game loop" describes the interaction and feedback a gamer has when playing a game. Tetris, for example, has a game loop where a random block appears, the gamer interacts with the block to position it, and then the game decides if that finishes a row or not, increases the players score if any rows were completed, then gives the gamer another block to position. Counter-Strike has a game loop where a player seeks another player, tests their skill against that player by shooting them or being shot, the computer rewards the player if they win, and then if the player survives, they repeat that loop. There's no loop here, no true interactive feedback. It simply is not a game, it cannot be "played". This has misleadingly been launched in the "Games" section of Steam instead of the "Software" section. This is a common mistake for developers who are new to Steam, or don't understand the difference between games and software which isn't a game. It seems this software published incorrectly as a game is simply lack of experience/knowledge of the correct process. Here's a link for the process to publish non-game software on Steam: Steam Developer Help With Software Publishing It's unfortunate this process was not known about/followed, resulting in a software application being published in the wrong place. Publishing things which aren't games on Steam in the Games section as games is misleading to gamers and somewhat harmful, because it pollutes the Steam marketplace and takes away visibility and market exposure for genuine game developers who do the right thing and make games for gamers. There are no gameplay loops in this software, no "gameplay", no meaningful game like interaction. It's a software application and as such has no merits as a video game for gamers. Because of this, I cannot recommend this non-game software as a game to gamers.
