I played a bunch of the original, and I’m loving this one. The new modes are great like tournament, matchmaking generally seems fast and effective, and the structure stuff like crossplay, new presentation, and unlockables are awesome. The music complaints I don’t get at all. I was a really big fan of the music in the first game, and if anything in this one it feels even more pumped up and permeating. Basically the game is the first game, but tuned up with more modern amenities to keep it running for longer and make it more compelling. There are less levels, but I imagine that won’t be the case long term, and the ones that are here are very good. If this came out at like 30 bucks it may be harder to recommend, but at 10? Less than the base price of the original? Super psyched to have this. Will be playing this for a very long time. Really my only complaint is you should be able to queue up with friends for matchmaking. Lame you can still only play with them in lobbies. You can make those lobbies public, but comon. Also the ranked point system is wack. Good luck ever getting out of beginner’s league, at the very least that rank should be smaller so actual beginners end up together. As it is now the range of skills in there will be massive due to it taking forever to make progress in even if you’re winning.

I think people right now are just hating, i think it refreshes the game. Do I think this couldve just been an update to the original game? yes i do. Honestly people gotta let this game marinate, if nothing changes within the next few months i retract my statement. People are hating on the lack of maps, but honestly I think the new items are nice and it helps balance out the lack of maps in my opinion. Slope surfing is easier, you can ice boxes now which adds some spice to it, and the gun item is honestly kinda broken if used correctly lol
ok so this game feels just as good as the first one so imma keep it simple RIP my ♥♥♥♥♥ gil and my boy dashwell please add them as dlc and would also like to see super speedrunners back that is all
It's been a hot while since i played the first game and i did't go back to compare it, but to my experience this game feels exactly like the first game. ive seen alot of people complaining about the movement feeling clunky which i can't really seem to grasp myself. There is a little problem sometimes with sudden lag spikes, which i think hopefully they will improve upon. so far though im very pleased with the sequal of a very fond game of mine.(content wise, im not sure if it's lacking or not, however i find the new 8 player max a very nice feature to this one)
Juegazo.
Game is good, and with noticeable improvement from the original. Multiplayer with friends is really fun. I don't personally notice any input delay at all. The bad reviews aren't justified at all, music is pretty solid, characters look good, graphics look good for the style of game that it is. campaign does suck i will say that but who gets a party game to play the campaign. and the map pool is a little limited but with the alternate style maps there's enough maps to have some fun with your buddies for a while. A decent part of this game is memorizing the maps and if there was 20 something maps like the original it gets too be too much to memorize and give way too much of an advantage to people who put in unrealistic hours to this game. Ranked is disastrous, that whole system needs to be redone. 15 points per win and 1000 points to rank up? and made it 1v1 for no reason to make you have to wait 2 laps to get sudden death started, just to include items. anyways i do recommend this game but only to people who plan on playing it with friends.
this game has everything that the first game didn't they have the championship mode, they even have a story mode with some silly battles where you use missiles to fight instead of just running, they have 8 player mode, they have so much that the first game didn't have, the graphics can be straining for some people, and I hope they release a mod to get rid of all the backround clutter, the freeze gun might be the most useless addition to the game, I hate getting that item, the only real problem is that ranked mode is still dead despite being a new game, I hope that the developers regularly update with player maps to ranked mode to keep the game active
A fun time. There are some completely new characters. But a lot of the originals from the first game are still missing I expect more to be added later. It's been a while since I played the first game. But this one feels very similar to play. New Items are fun. What I don't like is that during gameplay each character is highlighted for no reason. Which makes it hard to figure out which character am I controlling. Unless playing couch co-op, I want only my character to be highlighted. Amother thing that's confusing is that no matter what skin you are using, all players look the same at the top of the screen (where the boost bars are displayed). So when multiple players use the same character, it's not clear which one is which.
