give me speedrunners but hold the characters and hold the maps and hold the physics hey jimmy give me a speedrunners with nothin
speedrunners 2 is a cluttered mess that makes it super hard to tell what is going on at times. not only that but there is some weird design choices that makes it feel even worse after coming from the first game for example, you can no longer jump out of boost tunnels, you dont get a jump reset when using a bomb, wall jumps on door switches are completely random, and for some reason they made it so that you cannot jump while holding grapple. i dont know if these are intended but it makes the game feel a lot worse not only that, but they also took out a lot of the best maps like zoo, nightclub and lib. of the like 4 maps that have come from speedrunners 1 are scattered between A and B so you need to guess which one is the original; it's not consistent i have over 800 hours in speedrunners 1; speedrunners 2 just feels too terrible to play for more than 2 hours

Why would i buy a "sequel" game with the same maps and characters, but slower and harder to read.
the bad reviews are bad faith. the game is great. having a blast
I don't really see the need to buy this game over the original. The movement feels clunky and laggy compared to the original and all of the levels and powerups are practically the same. There are different visuals which can be a bit distracting compared to the original but not the hugest issue
Just buy the first game, this feels like a sluggish re-skin, not to even mention the EULA...
Alright. I gave the game a solid 39 minutes, and I feel like it's very mixed. Before I talk about how I *don't* like this game, i'll first talk about some of the pros: 1. I think the artwork is pretty cool, (carried alot by how much I love Unic's design.). 2. There isn't a number 2. Cons: 1. The Maps feel so... Not like them. Not as in, they changed them for the better, and I still have to adjust, plus this isn't some bias because of how I love the first game, but the maps feel so lifeless at times. My prime example is the Christmas/Winter Map of which I forgot its name. The whole vibe of it feels sucked out, and it doesn't even near look "wintery"/"christmasy"? I've only played 3 maps normally, and atleast like 5 in the campaign, but they all kind of feel the same as eachother, just with other colours. The maps are still pretty similar to what they were in the first game, but the whole kind of backround/feel of the maps aesthetic is kind of gone. 2. Voice lines. I like the idea of them playing in the backround according to what is happening, but this stupid character keeps saying the same 3 voice lines OVER AND OVER AND OVER. And the damn narrator won't shut up either, saying the EXACT SAME THING HE SAID 3 SECONDS AGO. (2.5.As I first encountered a bossfight in the campaign, I didn't think much to it, but the rockets with which you attack them just go at such a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ angle that it just pisses me of. I'm putting this as reason 2.5 because it's a skill issue on my end.) 3. The game is so targeted to making people feel better than they are. UNFAIR IS EASY AS ♥♥♥♥. I was wondering why the bots were so trash, then realized I was on medium difficulty, and thought "welp if this was already this easy, I'll just try unfair, die a couple of times, and switch to hard.", BUT THE BOTS ARE STILL TRASH. I saw a negative review on the first game talking about how unfair is just them being faster, not better, and even if I agree, BRING IT BACK. I liked how "unfair" was genuinely unfair, because they had a giant advantage, and you had to use your SKILL to beat them, but now these braindead dumbasses run into crates and rarely, if AT ALL use their boost??? 4. Might just be a visual glitch, or a problem on my end, but even at 1440p native the game just looks aliased as hell. Also the characters picture resolution next to their dialogue is so low compared everything else. 5. Kind of part of number 3, but I **hate** how they make you play as the "bad guys". THE ONLY REASON THESE CHARACTERS ARE GOOD IS BECAUSE I'M FORCED TO CONTROL THEM. 7.Also the visual effects make the game harder than the actual bots. Though, I should stop being a hater. Even if I think there's almost no reason to get this over the first game, for the right group of people, this might just be a great way to come into SpeedRunners.
Speedrunners didn't need a sequel. This game currently feels like a bad cashgrab. * Worse input lag compared to the frist one * Music just cut offs sometimes * Absolutely no reason to play singleplayer * Movement feels clunky, and in a game like Speedrunners this just can't happen * 2.5D/3D is not a bad shift, but it's done terribly * The game feels entirely uncomplete, if they were going to release the game like it actually is, they should've put the tag of EARLY ACCESS, this is in no way a complete game currently, it features even less content than the original. * Weird physics * UI needs a massive improvement * Models are just worse in every sense, every character was stripped out of their identity * I want to emphasize on the clunky movement, this game has so much input lag that actually playing is a headache * There's so much visual noise in the game is even hard to tell apart where your character is * Even with so much input lag, this game has a much lower skill cap and you can't fully express your movement due to said input lag * It tends to crash. Aboslutely do not buy this game if you were a fan of the first one, stick to it and just dismiss this nonsense
It genuinely adds nothing, just get the first game. It has fewer maps (and some are just the maps from 1), it has messy visuals, and the controls aren't as tight. Overall a downgrade.
If you're looking for a review on this game you've come to the wrong place, but if you're looking for an outstanding pie recipe you've come to the right place. Ingredients: 6 tablespoons unsalted butter 1/2 cup white sugar 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/4 cup water 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon 1 pinch salt 5 apples - peeled, cored and sliced 1 pastry for double-crust pie Directions: Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). Combine butter, white sugar, brown sugar, water, cinnamon, and salt in a saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil, remove from heat and set aside. Roll out half the pastry to fit a 9-inch pie plate. Place bottom crust in pie plate; pour in apple slices. Roll out top crust into a 10-inch circle. Cut into 8 (1-inch) wide strips with a sharp paring knife or pastry wheel. Weave the pastry strips, one at a time, into a lattice pattern. Fold the ends of the lattice strips under the edge of the bottom crust and crimp to seal. Pour butter-sugar mixture over top of pie, coating the lattice, and allowing any remaining sauce to drizzle through the crust. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C), and bake until the crust is golden brown, the caramel on the top crust is set, and the apple filling is bubbling, 35 to 40 more minutes. Allow to cool completely before slicing. This game is ♥♥♥♥, OG goated.
