The hilarious game about the complexity of conversation. Move your tongue and lips to make your words come out and try not to let your face explode.

So I got this game on sale for £2.30, and I'm so glad I didn't pay full price for it. As others have said, it's a good idea for a game (and it could be very funny) but the controls are aggravating to no end. The mouth movements are okay, but everything else just slows the game right down and makes it very unsatisfying to play. As another reviewer pointed out, the tongue mechanics are so clunky that it ruins the rest of the game. You have to hit the buttons in the mouth with a fair amount of force, using the squishy tongue that twists around and gets stuck all over the place. When you move the mouth, you're pretty much guaranteed to accidentally hit one of the red buttons (which you aren't supposed to hit). I ended up disabling the other facial features which you unlock as the game progresses, because they just slow the whole process right down even more . If you want to use them, you get extra points, but you also have to stop moving the mouth in order to move your eyes or your smile, so you have this awkward gap in the sentence where you just do a minor thing. I thought this game would be one of those where once you get used to the controls you can get a satisfying rhythm going, kinda like a dance game or something, and speak more fluidly, but even disabling the other facial features and trying my best to just play as quickly as possible, the sentences don't feel satisfying to say because they're always full of awkward pauses from faffing about with the tongue. It makes the funny writing of the game just fall flat, because it's just not fluent at all. And it's a shame because I feel like if the tongue was just a bit easier to use it wouldn't be nearly as bad. I tried both controller and mouse/keyboard and neither of them felt right with the tongue specifically.

I am not robot. I am human.
Cat got my tuuuuuh Really: This game doesn't feel rewarding especially to those who skip dialogue (no offence) all you get is xp after missions
About an hour and a half worth of playtime, fairly amusing but if you watch a playthrough of it, you won't gain much through playing it. I'd get it for two or three dollars for a good giggle at funny faces.
Incredibly challenging and absolutely hilarious!
It’s cool to see all the different ideas for games that there can be that you’d never think of, but the games end up existing and being good. I never would have thought a speaking simulator game would exist. But it does and it’s good! It captures social anxiety so well. The game’s hard, but that makes it capture social anxiety more. I have to focus on a lot of things at once while speaking, instead of just speaking like it seems like everyone else can manage to do! I also like that the guy thinks of “normal” things differently and I like the humor. My only complaint is that the last stages didn’t do anything for me. I just didn’t care about them and expected more out of the ending. I still like the game though!
As others have said, funny idea but not great in execution. I didn't find the controls all that frustrating but the stunted speech is very grating. I think if the speech was long and drawn out instead of coming out in little bits it would be less irritating, but as it is now it doesn't feel very rewarding to wrestle with the controls to complete each level. Bought on sale and it still felt expensive. Sorry but I'd say skip this one.
