About
Spacelane Express is a relaxed, atmospheric space transport game where you play as an independent pilot hauling cargo between planets and space stations.
There’s no rush, no combat pressure — just contracts to fulfill, ships to fly, and routes to master as you carve out a living among the stars.
Whether you’re docking at a weathered industrial station or cruising quietly through deep space, the focus is on calm, methodical gameplay and the simple satisfaction of a job well done.

No music at the start screen, music doesn't start until you start to choose your ship, which you can only choose one of with no direction on how to unlock the others / only one music track. How big is the playable world? No one knows since you cannot pull up any sort of map. No directions on keys, movement, or anything else. Ran out of fuel before i made it to my first drop point. Which only slows you down to 108m/s. I played a total of 10 minutes i neither was relaxed or having fun. All in all this is a $2.99 tech demo displaying the programming ability of the developer. This is not a game or early access (yet). Things you can improve on - Graphics, the stations look like a station at a distance, but up close they look like crumpled up pieces of paper, same for the ship. No AI -- universe feels empty there is nothing going on, I'm the only one flying around. Fuel consumption needs to be looked at set up some sort of guide for keys, found out i can roll...why? stations - no way to just leave a station without exiting the game or picking another contract / stations only offer fuel and contracts to move goods. You might consider adding in a "bar" area or "night club" area for stations to find missions and/or POI's. What i look for in games like this isn't just "space trucking simulator" but you could add in enemy's like pirates, or mining, because transporting goods from one station to another shouldn't be the only thing you can do. Sometimes you might want to mix it up, a single game loop only leads to so much fun, and in this case, the fun is sparse but the potential is there, I just think you jumped the gun with making it Early Access with so little offered. I look forward to seeing how your project evolves.
Started, ran out of fuel, selected multiple cargo destinations. Cruised at super slow speed (without fuel) to the nearest, dropped the cargo and refueled. Launched and got stuck, only able to move forwards and roll he ship but not actually turn. The cargo destination was very close but I couldn't turn to reach it (or even see it). I had to quit. Restarted and this time a woman popped up and said i unlocked a new ship...that was something new. Took that ship, lost money (I assume buying the ship even though it did not show a price tag) Did a few more runs and unlocked the next ship, a few more and the 4th ship unlocked and that made no sense...fast but hardly any cargo space so stayed with ship 3. Not much in here so far, two planets, seven space stations and you run cargo between stations and unlock new ships. I hope more will come but for the price, it's okay. Dev won't make much money at this price though so I hope he/she bundles content into little DLC packages to make more money.
