Space Slurpies

It's 2021 and I never thought I would be having this much fun playing snake. What makes or breaks a game like this is the controls, and in Space Slurpies they feel tight. Winning or losing feels fair and in the players control. Playing solo and unlocking new maps is fun since each new map has different obstacles to keep it fresh and interesting. There is just something satisfying about playing online and cutting someone off at the last second causing them to crash into your slurpie as revenge for earlier when they stole all the food in your corner.

I jumped into this game for the first time yesterday. When I first saw the trailers I didn't really understand what was going on, so I wasn't sure if it was anything I would enjoy. I was guessing that it wouldn't be. I was wrong! As soon as the music started I was already smiling... turns out that the music is very good throughout the gameplay. And the smile never left my face. If you ever played Snake on the old Nokia cell phones, you are gonna love this! There is something very satisfying about slurping up all the food and seeing your snake grow and grow. I found that there are a couple ways to play. You can be competitive and move as quickly as possible and try to eliminate the other snakes, or you can move methodically being very careful and deliberate with your movement which becomes almost zen-like. I prefer the latter myself... it is just very satisfying. As stated above, I was given a free key for this game on Steam. But after playing it for a brief time yesterday, I knew right away that I wanted to support this game so I jumped over to AppLab and bought it on there. I jumped back in today, and still smiling!

this game is GREAT. not only having an excellent soundtrack but a fun multiplayer experience with friends. i have great expectations for future updates and an official release.

I had about 10 minutes of fun out of this. Multiplayer was a ghost town though, and without that, there's not much to recommend.

got Access to the beta of the Space Slurpies, would say this is one of the best games to learn vr from scratch as you learn how to move your controller in full 360 degree systems bouth up and down. it can get abit hectic after a while but thats the fun of it, and the Dev is responsing fast on questions.

Space Slurpies is like seeing centipede or snake in VR using your environment around you. It's a great game for only $7! https://youtu.be/n1ptdOlb-eI So space slurpies is basically multiplayer centipedes in vr where you're going in this 3d space trying to collect these icons these dot whatever these things are these little glowing bulb things i don't know but you're trying to collect them and get points and in the process you're getting longer. Your goal is to basically trap your opponents or cause them to run into themselves which eventually seems to happen at least with the computer I honestly find this game to be a massive amount of fun it's one of those things that it's so hard to sell it from the gameplay but when you get in the headset it's such a win. It also has this green screen thing which allows for some pretty hilarious editing but for me space slurpies is just about having fun it's on app lab it's on steam I've played both versions and I've actually included gameplay of both so if you see the graphical drop down a bit that's that's the reasoning but it's so barely noticeable between the two of them i really don't think it matters that much. I also will say that there is a bit of like cross-play thing where it seems like the versions can't play together which kind of sucks. In conclusion space slurpies is just so much fun I highly recommend this game I would say this is one that you should definitely try out before you disregard it and also just a quick thank you to the developers for the key.
