In general, the idea of the game is quite interesting, but there are big flaws that need to be improved. -It is difficult to watch on the boot screen, because of the blurred background. -Sometimes the game just hangs for a few seconds (by choosing ultra settings). I would like to be able to look at the map far from the top, or at least make a minimap, because sometimes it is difficult to understand where the player is going. As for the dynamics of the game, in my opinion, when controlling the player and when reviewing the level, the camera moves too abruptly. Is it possible to make camera movement smoother? Managing viewing angles is not very convenient, I advise you to add camera control with the mouse. Red cubes that disappear have no feedback. Therefore, it is not clear exactly when the cube will fall. It would be possible to make the cube flicker in red to let the player know that something will happen soon. It would not be bad to add the "restart level" function. I also strongly recommend adding tips to the player if he cannot complete the level for a long time, as frequent failures and long loadings screens cause apathy. By the way, about loading screen - it eats up a lot of gameplay time. I hope in the future there will be no loading screen after each death, but respawn. The game can be played, but it requires improvements.
PROS: -Very good gameplay -Easy to learn, hard to master -Great puzzles -When you get stressed out in lol/pub/fortinite, take 10 minutes to play a couple of stages and you're ready to go back up to your toxic community games, very relaxing game. -I play the game everytime when i was in queue for my ranked match, worth it! CONS: Early Acess: expect some minor bugs, but totaly playable.
On first glance, this game reminded me of a game I used to play as a kid, it was called 'Kula World' which has simple premise. You control a ball in a world where gravity changes as you move through edges. The point is to collect items which opens the possibility to go through the finish "line". It is a nice puzzle game, with a really calming music, which is great plus, but as it is still an early access game, it has some issues and bugs and still needs a bit of work to do. Still this game has a potential to be great, as it is calming, teases your brain and makes you think, but it is not as time consuming as most games nowadays. This game is quite interesting. I really enjoyed it. It is quite relaxing but it still is demanding. Your brain starts working better with the strategy you are using to pass the levels. With each and every level, it gets harder and harder. The music ingame is so relaxing and makes you love the game even more. I would recommend this game to every casual gamer out there, who wants to enjoy a simple strategy game. Although it the game is simple, it still is demanding. It is not that easy, but it is exciting for sure.
i always enjoy to play this game, its very challenging and i get involve more and more in this game 10/10
The game is quite simple yet good for mind-training and with a good enogh graphics. There is still some bugs (such as the falling just after the respown sometimes). Is also not well clear when the orb can change edge. Things that I personally don't like very much are the fixed camera and the camera speed..it is too fast when changing view point, I would suggest a logaritimic/dumped speed change. I would have preferred a following/moving camera from other prospectives and the WASD movement in all directions instead of rotating the camera, but this is just my opinion. But I'm sure that the game will be implemented with our feedback.
Definitely on the best indie games I played I ussually dont write reviews but I had to do that for this amazing piece. I remembered playing game like this when I was a little kid on my first computer. Space Orb brought so many sweet childhood memories... It levels are beutifully designed, very challenging and you will enjoy it from very beggining till the end ( Ofcourse if you pass level 4 lol ) . After I bought the game I played it for 12 hours its so addicting that you dont want to stop. The game has also relaxing and minimalistic soundtrack which will help you get lost in it misterious universe. I didnt found any bugs which is interesting beacuse its early access game. In overall this is one of the best indie games you can get for less than 5 $ and I highly recommend it for all Indie lovers out there. 10/10 would be my final grade... Good job developer and thank you for helping me bring those childhood memories back
I was thrilled about this game when I found it. There aren't many like these out there. Some levels are hard and some easy. I was playing and then I saw that already 4 hours has passed. Definately worth buying and playing. Recommend it to everyone who likes these kind of games.
Space orb is a fun little indie game with a cool concept. Its primary mechanic is rotating around different structures and changing the gravity of them. Using this, you play through a few different creative and challenging puzzles. Changing the gravity is really cool and allows for some creative solutions. Hanging upside down off a pillar feels just trippy enough to keep you thinking through to the end. This game executes its concept well, however there are a few glaring flaws. First of all, the death system is really annoying. This game does not feel enough like a platformer to justify the timed sections and carefully executed jumps you'll encounter and thus they become annoying. This leads to frequent, frustrating deaths and the game doesn't handle them well. I would expect in a game like this where you're constantly thinking about how to reach the goal to have little stops. Rather than restarting the whole level, it should throw you right back into the action. Next is that there's no way to preview whole of the map mid level. This is okay and makes it more challenging but not necessarily in a good way. The final issue is just a general sense of low production value, but it's fine, given it's the first publication of an indie dev. Going through, spending some time on the menus and fonts, adding some new music, and more levels would give the game a much greater since of polish. Overall / TL;DR: It's a fun mechanic with a few cool levels for it. Needs some improvement but if you like the concept, at this price it's a fun little puzzle brain-bender.
Well this game is funny. It is very challenging and when you get stuck it is hard to put aside. Overall it is a good game for chilling and when you want to be challenged. Hope the devs are going to add new amazing stuff to this game in the future. Also worth the price!
