This will be my first negative review and don't get me wrong - game isn't terrible. It's just WAY too early to release it. I was about to post same review few days ago, hopefully was waiting for some news about patch... and now I see steam news. I wasn't scammed on early access game so far, well, now it's time for me too. Game at first was published by THQ Nordic and it's quite big company (which I like), so I was sure about game's development. Now I don't really care about this company, I ended up with half-baked product in my library, for which I paid almost full price
A Promising Game that fell flat. First off the developers behavior changed my perspective of their studio and their principals & what I mean about that is, the development of the game went through a lot of changes, the developers were responding to questions when fans noticed the publisher changed from THQ to their studio name, but there was never a official update, and this continued to be a trend as Mirage Game Studios lack the sense of communication & this was shown when they developers went on for month (since October 2024) without communicating to fans the development of the game, the studio, etcs,. I & a few others posted in their discord where they never respond to messages, but recently reacted to someone post wishing them the best....but never responded to questions asking about the game as it was left in as bad state with no updates to the on going problems within the game. However we finally get some insight (half a**) that the game is no longer in EA (early Access) and will not receive any further updates as their no longer continuing work on the game. You would think they would offer a refund for those who supported the game through all this BS though they initially said they were, but now that message cannot be found. Mirage Game Studio, I will never trust you guys again as it seem you guys not only had the "funds" and "backing" of THQ, but used EA to help fund the game as well, then you proceeded to half a** release one update that added a new world with nothing major, no fixed for previous problems, not a slate of new missions, resources, a few changes to the HUD then went into incognito mode for months...that's a damn shame.
I liked the promise, but the game was abandoned due to the studio not being profitable. In its current state, it is not worth buying. Unfortunate.
1. No progression after the first mission. Last month a new planet was added, but it doesn't make any difference. 2. Overall feeling of another abandonware.
unoptimized garbage.. both steam and the devs should work together to pull it from the store page. furthmore refund it!
Abandoned few weeks into the Early Access. ignore. not worth it even at 60%+ off
Well, my honest opinion it sucks that it is abandoned, sure, I understand the frustration of everyone, especially those who paid full price. I wanted to refund right away when I read devs are gone, but now I'm glad I didn't. It will still grant around 10h and perhaps more of fun. It's a cute, witty building game, not too many bugs and pretty clear what to do. I enjoyed it so far, might even play another map - though it does become redundant soon -, sad that this is not going further. The concept is quite unique as well.
