About
Space Engineers is an open world sandbox game about designing, building and testing your own space machines. Construct ships, stations and planetary bases in a fully destructible environment, then explore planets and space, mine resources, survive hazards and engage in combat alone or with friends in Creative or Survival modes.
Play solo or in multiplayer, from small co-op outposts to huge community servers. Start with a simple lander, grow into a mining and industrial empire, or focus on warships and planetary fortresses – the game gives you the tools and physics, you decide what to build.
Space Engineers uses a volumetric physics engine: every block and voxel has mass, inertia and damage. Ships break apart, stations crumble and terrain can be drilled, carved and reshaped, so your engineering choices really matter.
Space Engineers is grounded in real engineering and hard science fiction, driven by realism and plausible near-future technology. Think modern space programs extrapolated into the future: realistic ships, stations, tools and systems where everything is built and simulated block by block. It’s about the machinery you build, not about magic or scripted set-pieces.

**A true sandbox for your imagination** Space Engineers is one of those games where you start with a simple idea and somehow end up spending hours designing ships, building massive space stations, exploring planets, and solving problems you never expected to have. What makes this game special is the freedom. You can build almost anything you can imagine, and when something goes wrong, you learn from it and try again. The engineering, physics, exploration, and creativity all come together in a way that makes every playthrough feel different. It can be challenging at times, and there is definitely a learning curve, but that is also part of the fun. There is something incredibly satisfying about seeing a machine you designed actually work. **If you enjoy building, experimenting, exploring, and creating your own stories, Space Engineers is absolutely worth playing.** 10/10 — *If you can imagine it, you can probably build it.*

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

this is A GREAT game ever
Clang ate my house.
Great game to play with friends or solo while listening to a podcast or audio book. I've play 150+ hours in 3 months. There is a bit of a learning curve with the UI/inventory system.
This game is very fun and it allows you to be creative and explore other worlds! I would very much recommend this to other steam players.
