Space Dragons

Great game absolutely worth the asking price. The execute ability, whole a little cumbersome is a unique feature. I'd like to see some better rewards for pulling it off, as right now it doesn't seem to be worth the danger of getting so close to enemies.

Space Dragons is a classic shoot them up game, destroy alien and defeat challenging bosses through the end. Graphics (7 / 10) : The graphics are pretty nice, in 6 differents levels, but the common theme of nature/forets/city. Gameplay (8 / 10) : First easy level to hardest one levels, the game is really challenging, but you have multiples ship to control, the classic one and the ‘’tanker’’ one with 2 extra hits points and others to unlock ..., each ship have a primary shot and a special attack, with powerful but limited ammo weapon to get in the level, and also the way to ‘’assassinate’’ enemy with low heal at close ranged to get a extra hp. After level 2, we get hability to start at level 2 after each run, (same for level 3 …), so we aren’t obligated to start over with each new run, a really good point. Price (6.5 / 10) : 6 levels for 3.29 euros, the price is pretty correct, that will take at last one hour for finishing the game, at minimum. Story/Music/Optimization (5.5/10) : No story into the game The Music look like old music from Megadrive, but personally I don’t like it ... Don’t get any optimization or freeze during gameplay (played on a i5, 2Go VRAM and 8Go RAM) Final Note (6.8 / 10) : Space Dragons is a shoot them up with a cheap price, multiples weapons and everything that a shmup is required to be good, with progression through each run. Recommended for shmup fan :) + : - Good graphics - Easy to learn, hard to master - Progress through each run. - Pretty Cheap ... - : - But only 6 levels for now (maybe 5 extras levels in the future) - No bomb / secondary / shield ability. - Really hard in general.

Super cool graphics and nice bullet patterns. Very much recommended.

This game is interesting - it has unique enemies, theme and the overall feel of it is straight out of the 90's, which is a good thing. The enemies are some kind of an alien parasites, and they looking so good, even the backgrounds are infested by them, very detailed landscape and environment. Loved the boss designs and mechanics, its a cool shmup. I actually missed the stage select feature first time, also the execution system should be advertised somehow, it can be missed without a tutorial. Good game, looking for more.

Se podría decir que es UN SQUADRON 2 pero con alienígenas. Los gráficos son muy buenos, el sonido también. Quizás las fases son un poco monótonas pero tampoco estoy seguro porque sólo me he pasado la primera.

AMANDAでノーコンテニュークリアするまでプレイしました。 難易度はSTGとしては易しめだけど、ショットを撃ちっぱなしにさせないシステムで軽すぎないゲームプレイになっている印象です。 しかしそのショットを抑制するシステムが [list] [*]追加武器の弾切れ [*]オーバーヒート [*]ショット中移動速度低下(精密な弾避けをするようなものではなく) [*]Execution(グローリーキル) [/list] …多すぎない？なんというかストイックすぎない？ Execution…グローリーキルをSTGに導入しているのは面白いけど、DOOMや多くのアクションゲームと異なり強制スクロールのSTGではグローリーキルの最中に他の敵がそのまま過ぎ去ってしまう。 Executionを無闇に使わないか、処刑の速いLehnaを選ぶかExecutionスピードアップを複数獲得する対策は出来るけど…。 ドット絵は大変雰囲気が良く、BGMもカッコいい 美しい自然、おそろしいエイリアン、カッコいい自機、kawaii AMANDAちゃん… うるさいドット絵マニアは解像度がバラバラなのが気になるかもしれないけど。 追加の新キャラも一見優等生だけど処刑がかなり遅いところで妙にバランスが取れてたり、とにかく安易な選択肢は無いという感じでしょうか。 私は程よい歯ごたえと雰囲気が気に入りましたが、息が詰まると感じる人もいるとは思います。
