Space Ball VR is an Early Access free to play VR sports game with gorillia movement. It worked on my Index, Meta Quest 3 via Steam Link and HTC Vive system, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok. Has soccer and basketball game modes. Has Bots that are good. Update 1 March 2025, loaded this game up to test all my 3 HMD system on it, I played a tutorial when i first started it, but now i am in my room watching a spinning wheel, no way to select a game mode or do anything. CONS: - Other players saying in forum, they cannot start a match in any game mode. - Devs have been silent way past their Early Access roadmap. - Is there a working server? - Sometimes the game don't reach the servers. Maybe try this free game, you might like it.
Space Ball VR is a phenomenal virtual reality game that completely immerses players. With the use of virtual reality controllers, players must skillfully hit a ball into a goal. The game is highly customizable with various arenas and difficulty levels to choose from. However, the graphics could be better, and the game may be too challenging for casual players. Despite these minor flaws, Space Ball VR is an incredibly fun and engaging game that is perfect for sci-fi and sports enthusiasts alike.

Arkadaşlarınızla eğlenceli bir Uzay Topu oyunu oynayın! Futbol ve basketbol: Bu sportif ve dinamik oyunda dilediğiniz mod mevcut.
My most favourite game in VR so far. Great cardio, nice mechanics, Soccer and Basketball modes <3. Rocket League + Gorilla Tag vibes. Music and sounds are great too. And its FREE =)
Multiplayer doesn't work!!! Please fix it! We tried to create a room with a friend and play, and we were thrown out when creating. If you fix it, then I will recommend the game. In the meantime, don't even play.
Note: Dead PvP game This game contains no meaningful single player content. There's no viably populated servers/active player population. This game cannot be played as intended.
This was a furry friendly "sports" PvP arena game that went nowhere and was abandoned by the developers almost as fast as the players... well, that's overly generous, this was never actually successful. So, "Space Ball VR" is a dead PvP game. Why did it fail? It's video game autopsy time! Almost every PvP exclusive game on Steam fails. Only a tiny proportion of them "go viral". This game failed for many of the same reasons those others fail. The chief of which is the developer thinking that their game will "go viral" without actually creating any reason for it do so. Competition amongst PvP centric games is extreme, and there's only a finite player base to appeal to. This game failed to reach any kind of critical mass and died as a result. Let's go into some of the reasons this particular game failed to appeal to gamers, despite the zero up front cost. First and foremost, there's no meaningful single player content. The developer gambled that other players would be an acceptable substitute for adding storytelling, level design etc to the Game. They lost that bet. Without a huge community of players or single player content to add a lasting value to the game, the game dies. Developers must learn that other players are not an acceptable substitute for adding content to a game. The developers abandoned this 1 year and 11 months ago. It will never be completed. This unfinished game is just polluting Steam and making it harder for gamers to find genuinely, completely made games. I'm not sure if this is an asset flip, but it's one of those cases where the assets just look much better than the rest of the quality of the game... a glaring inconsistency. Some assets like the furry characters do look bespoke, however. There's no evidence, but as always, the biggest problem with asset flips besides the plagiarism is the deplorably low quality of the other aspects of the game, and even if the game assets are genuinely created for the game, the quality of the rest of the game is indistinguishable from that of asset flips. It's VR exclusive, and that shows the developer failed to understand the most basic axiom of VR game design... if the only cool thing about your product is VR support, your product is not cool. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. Most "free" games on Steam aren't really free. There's usually some kind of monetisation, from nasty mobile app cash shops, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, to any other number of shady pricing schemes that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable, or something you might want to spend your time on. In terms of public reception, this failed. There's over 130 million unique gamers visiting Steam every month. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 6 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. All other issues aside (any of which would disqualify this from being worth your time), this is a game that relies on other players for it to be viable, and because there's not enough players, it's not viable. I can't recommend anyone downloads this, it's basically dead.
The game sets a new direction for VR - arcade. This is the best game in this genre for VR devices and its quality meets all requirements. I really hope that the developers will not abandon the game at this stage, because its potential is huge. I hope that in the future there will be a rating system, and perhaps become the first cyber sports game for VR Another main feature - the developers regularly answer questions in discord and even hold events for players, together with the development team. I wrote a couple of bugs, which were quickly answered and fixed in the next patch, and updates here are regular. Enjoy my friends
great workout and teamwork! I pumped up my arms with this game
Current state of the game: Takes you through a tutorial, where you get to play against a bot as long as you wish. If you quit the match, or quit the game and relaunch, you now own: furry lobby simulator. The spot where menus would usually be are an endless loading screen, as the servers appear to be down. No way to relaunch a match with the bots, play against a friend, etc. The bot gameplay was a blast I was looking forward to playing this, but looks like it is dead and the servers are shut down.
