South of Midnight

Great game. The story is engaging, the gameplay is entertaining and the music and voice acting (oh the music) are a masterpiece. The story is original. For once, we are facing threads and legends that are not the 'usual suspects' in gaming. I was expecitng even more of them, particularly from the echoes of the past we start seeing early in the game, but that also triggered my curiosity to search for them, so kuddos to the team for bringing them to live and to our minds. Really enjoyed all the aspect of the gameplay: the platforming is fun and the combat is challenging. Graphics are a treat and voice acting and music are just stellar. Thanks to their masterfully crafted arts, they make the game a great experience all around.

Game can have some hiccups here and there in terms of performance or surfaces being kinda "slippery". However the art style, music, and world really carry the roughly 8-10 hour experience. Some of the story elements are a little too simple for my taste. The combat is missing anything outside of a simple 5 press singular button mash "combo". However despite it's flaws I still had fun and fell in love with its beautiful environments, some really fun characters, and AMAZING music.

I wish I bought this sooner, The atmosphere in this game is amazing. The story telling, art style, everything goes together so well. The combat is challenging but fair. I look forward to seeing all what this has in store,

Great storytelling accompanied by equally great music.

This game is an absolute masterpiece ! I love the story it was really good and the designs of the game are amazing as well. I really enjoyed the character and creature designs and the music is great as well.

Good old school PS1/PS2 combat (prince of Persia, god of war, etc.) but that is the only "bad" thing I can say about the game. The visuals were amazing and I loved the story telling aspect of the game. It did feel like to much and gave a nostalgia story telling feel I've missed.
