Reviews
The negative reviews seem unfair to me – after all, this game is 100% free, and I mean actually free as in no loot boxes, no season passes and no other shady free-to-play nonsense whatsoever! I challenge you to find another game on Steam that offers this level of quality without charging a single cent! Definitely worth checking out in my opionion!

Neat idea, the music is nice, but its horribly unfun to play. Dashing refuses to take diagonal movement into account, actually shooting is not enjoyable, the UI is tough to read at times and uses the default font, the items are mostly copy paste (increase one stat but decrease another), and it runs absolutely horribly. I am running with a 3060ti with an i9-10850k under linux, and cannot get 60 fps even on medium settings. For such a small arena, it makes no sense to be running this poorly.

Sound of Survival has a fantastic core idea: a rhythm-based FPS where shooting, jumping, and dashing on the beat boosts your damage against cyberpunk robots. The blend of rhythm action with Vampire Survivors-like metaprogression (upgrading between rounds) is genuinely exciting and has loads of potential. The music-driven combat feels great when it clicks. However, on Steam Deck OLED (SteamOS/Linux), the experience is currently poor: Severe Performance: It ran at a constant ~20 FPS on Low settings. This is unplayable for a rhythm/action game. Resolution Issues: Couldn't lower resolution below 1080p, hurting performance further. No Native Controller Support: The biggest hurdle. The game doesn't recognize the Steam Deck's built-in controls. Getting it to work required significant, non-intuitive controller configuration tinkering. It Runs... Barely: Credit where it's due – it did launch and run on the Deck, which is more than some unverified games manage. Verdict: Wait for Optimizations (Especially on Deck) The core gameplay loop is addictive and unique. I want to love this on my Steam Deck. But right now, the combination of terrible performance and lack of native controller support makes it practically unplayable in this handheld context. Not Recommended for Steam Deck users in its current state. Hope: The potential is huge! If the devs can add native Steam Deck controller support, offer lower resolutions, and significantly optimize performance for Linux/Deck, this could be an absolute gem for handheld players. I'll be eagerly watching updates. Very Nice Game, the shooting mechanic takes a bit of time to get used to, but then it is a lot of fun.
Muza na wysokiej jakości, dobry kliker na zabicie czasu. Mapki zrobione w unreal engine wyglądają maśnie. Brakuje jedynie więcej bossów oraz piosenek.
Very nice Game! Enjoyed the Boss fight and the Meta Progession.
говно управление отстойное графон такой себе а песни под бит играть такое себе могло быть и лучше
