Soul Split

Bound by a one-sided contract, you’ve been brought back from the afterlife to deal with a terrible curse that has befallen the land. Blast your way through an ancient dungeon, befriend its few talkative inhabitants, and grow your arcane prowess to unimaginable heights in order to deal with the threat and uphold your end of the deal. 

Collect hundreds of spells spread across seven elements and dozens of sub-elements. Each spell may be taken to a Spell Forge and be twisted into one of three superior versions. Infuse your lightning with blood, turn your earth spells molten or make your ice spells crystalline. Each element has a unique cross-over with one another, and several enhancements of their own making for an absurd amount of variety when build-crafting throughout a run. 

Descend into the world’s depths through lost lands that were once said to be swallowed by the earth itself. From the quiet halls of the Exilis Archives, to the violent swamps of the Khorsian Lowlands, learn about the history of the world both contemporary and ancient to piece together what exactly lead to the current state of affairs, and how it can be stopped.
