For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.

About
The town of Ashfall is dying—but not by the same hand. Each time you return, a new horror rules over it, chosen at random. In Soul Scar, your mission is never simple, and never the same.
Craft a party of four heroes from nine tormented classes—Priests, wizards, rogues, and more. Name them. Shape them. Watch them suffer. Then guide them through the shadows of Ashfall, where survivors cling to hope and whispers of salvation hide behind every locked door.
Ashfall is your hub—your only refuge. Rest, recover, accept quests... but know this: time is short. The evil that grips the town grows stronger with each passing moment. Venture beyond its walls to explore haunted woods, sunken crypts, forgotten sanctuaries—each filled with randomized treasures, deadly encounters, and scars that never fade.
Your journey ends only when you face the boss... whoever—or whatever—it may be. Every run reshapes the threat. Every defeat leaves its mark. And every victory unlocks New Game+, letting you retain your party and gear as the darkness deepens.
Nine unique classes – Combine brute strength, arcane magic, or forbidden arts
Party-based strategy – Build and name your team of four; synergy is survival
Randomized final boss – Face a new evil each run for endless replayability
Ashfall quests & lore – Discover the town’s secrets through optional missions
Mystic treasure system – Loot and gear are randomized each playthrough
New Game+ – Keep your characters and items as the nightmare escalates
Veteran Experience – Improve your attributes and learn deadly skills

I get very excited when Shane from Wolfs Moon studio releases a new rpg game. There is always something a little bit different & new. At the beginning I was a bit hesitant that I would enjoy it but persisted and had the best time grinding to get my VE points up. I definitely recommend!

I couldn't wait for this studio's new game, and I wasn't disappointed. At first glance, it's short, but it offers hours of fun gameplay, progression, and collecting vet points that offer new skills. I like that this developer always comes up with something new, so this time they added the New game+ option, which I didn't understand at first. However, after a little practice, I quickly got the hang of it and now I've used that option for the 4th time. I personally like combining old, experienced members with new members in the party, it makes it more fun to play. I love this game and I recommend it to all RPG fans, especially those who like classics with a twist.
Another gem from Wolfs Moon Studios! I picked this up and after 45 minutes, I'm hooked. I love the setting and game play. I feel like the dev is constantly exploring what can be done with the game engine.
Another amazing game from Wolfs Moon! Unique classes, a great grind experience...what more could I ask for? I've played a ton of games from this developer and each one feels great and fresh!
Dark, moody, and surprisingly addictive — Soul Scar Game nails the atmosphere and combat, and I love the team mentality with my own characters.
I was yearning for more with this entry. It's too short, but it is sweet. The formula/layout is excellent, but is also limited at the same time. This has the foundation on being an epic story like Wormskull, and could easily surpass Demon Scroll. Not a fan of the hunger system, but it also doesn't demotivate the game {since you're able to obtain so much food}. I am a fan of being able to create your own characters, but I wish we were able to choose our own sprites. if you're looking for a "quickie" I would highly recommend this game. There is a lot of replayability with this. The old school vibe succeeds with its graphics and music. I just wish there was a strong plot to this.
This was my first game from Wolf's Moon Studios and they have made me a huge fan. I can't wait to try some of the studio's other titles. This game is a classic old-school JRPG with some Rogue-Lite features. The game has retro looking graphics. A nice change from the normal RPG Maker graphics. The game also has 100% acoustic music. I found the music very enjoyable and relaxing. I can't think of many games that have done this and fits the game well. You pick four different classes out of nine choices for your party. Each class is fun and has different skills and spells to use. The cool thing is each time the game starts it randomly picks one Main Boss and one Mini Boss. Each from three choices. This can cause locations to change as well. The game will also randomly place items in chest. Each play thru is different. There is a NewGame+ option. Once you kill the Main Boss you have the choice of starting a New Game or continuing you current game. Using NewGame+ will restart the game but now there will be better items in the chests and new locations to explore. After that run you can choose NewGame+ again. The game is designed and meant to played multiple times. You will not see everything with one play thru. I really love this and was one of the main reasons I got the game. I can't wait to try other classes and trying to kill all the Main and Mini bosses. The game has a Hunger System. Everything you do takes food. If you run out you start to lose health and can die. It's kind of like Mana has been replaced with Hunger but overall I really love this system. You can use lots of skills and magic in combat without worrying about Mana. It just feels better and makes the combat very enjoyable for me. Some skills and spells are instant use and it's nice to be able to do those without having to wait. You are not allowed to use skills/spells outside combat. All the items you collect are meant to be used instead. I liked this since it forces you to use your items and not horde them. There tons of items and loot to collect in the game. It's all random you never know what you will get. My Mage didn't find a new weapon she could use until after NewGame+. She was using the basic staff she started with for my first play thru. After NewGame+ some of the chests change into Epic ones. Now there are even better items to get. I loved trying to find new and more powerful items. After awhile you will have more loot than you need. At some point an NPC appears in town that sells expensive potions to make your party even stronger. Good thing you have all those extra items to sell for gold. The max level for each character is 10. After that you can use Veteran Experience to buy more powerful skill/spells and stat upgrades. More reason to explore the world and do some grinding. After NewGame+ there are a few very tough locations that get unlocked. I'm still grinding trying to get powerful enough to enter these areas. Otherwise I didn't find the game that hard overall. There are a handful of quests to do in the main town. These don't seem to change with the NewGame+. It's a shame they don't and I would have liked more quests but considering how replayable it's not really a negative. There is enough content here to keep you busy for a long time. This is an enjoyable game to me and I love it. I see myself putting a tone of hours into this game. Killing all the Main and Mini bosses and trying different classes. If you are looking for an old-school JRPG with some Rogue-Lite features give this game a try. It's made to be replayed many times I think you will get a good amount of playtime for you money. Thanks Wolf's Moon Studios for an awesome game!!!
This game is a super addictive loop of building, experimenting, and running it back. The class combinations and party setups give you tons of freedom, and once you find a build that clicks, it feels incredibly satisfying. It can get a bit repetitive once you’ve optimized things, but getting there is half the fun. If you like replayable RPGs with strong build variety, this is an easy pick. Highly recommend.
Here is another entry I was late getting to! This nice entry from Wolfs Moon Studios features a unique and different character building approach. You can do several plays, increasing your characters' abilities as you go. It was very different, very fun, and backed by an awesome developer who stands ready to assist and answer questions at all times. Pick this one up for something a bit different that will entertain for hours.
